Considering a fuckton of anthropologists, archaeologists, and scholars are calling bullshit on that, I really think it's just a gimmick or a publicity stunt.
As someone who doesn't give two shits about religion, I hardly call this "busted."
No matter what kind of "evidence" is thrown at the fanatically devout, they will always claim heresay.
This is why I cannot stand some religious people. Their mindset is their way and nothing and no one will or can change it.
Standing up for what I believe in is a bad thing now?Originally Posted by Kytele
And yeah if you read that whole article it'll say that the dots don't connect. I don't really consider this as Christianity being "busted".
word. you coulda at least spelled Christianity right for God's sake (no pun intended).
Did you even read the article? It's actually disproving what youre stating (that its Jesus' tomb).
-was discovered almost 30 years ago
-1 of millions of other like tombs.
-all names used on the tombs are common names
-Jesus was buried alone
-etc
And plus, there is no scientific evidence to prove either way.
Ever watch Contact? No matter what kind of "evidence" is thrown at the fanatically devout, they will always claim heresay.
Uh no, not busted, sorry
There was not nearly enough evidence found @ those graves to 'bust christianity' and even if there was, christians wouldn't believe it for fear of going to hell for thinking it (not joking.)
lol yeah you're probably right.
In this case, every one of them will do that, because if they get their facts straight and prove it beyond a shadow of a doubt, then the entire religion is gone.Originally Posted by Kytele
Being a Christian myself, I plan on watching it to see if it has any basis whatsoever. Then, I might laugh, too.
edited op for truth's sake
lol owned
not trying to be mean, it was interesting besides the fact that it contradicted what you put as the post title. just rename it as, "Christianity still true, for now"

Kudos to you.
Oh, well, Myth Busted.
Honestly, if it was Jesus' tomb, do you seriously think it would be disclosed to the public before we cloned a Jesus Army?
o.o;; omg a jesus army would be sweet
You can say the same thing for most athiests or agnostic.Originally Posted by Kytele
You can say that about anyone, you could find a scientist who strongly believed there was no God, and still wouldnt believe even if he personally discovered that scientificly there really is a God.Originally Posted by Tyche
