A animal may be a human, but it does not mean all animals are human.

In other words the question is wrong, because it needs to say : Why aren't SOME animals human?

It is philosofical in a sense, just not a very good one. Because the question itself is a fallacy as it seems to state that all animals may or may not be human, and we know for a fact this is imposible, hence the question is null.

Well my intention wasn't being philosophical but somewhat trying to hint that theres a lot of perspective of answering that question that you can't pinpoint the exact answer. It's more like a Science vs. Religion kinda thing. So by asking the question I suggested it'll make him realize what his answer will be judging from his answer to my question. It's just belief thats what I think.

Just to be sure, the question on the title is rhetorical, and second there is no perspective in this really, humans are animals simply because they possess the characteristics of animals. This isn't a science vs religion debate, its a religion tryeng to ignore facts debate.

I believe that dolphins are actually insects, not mammals. We, as 'humans', are actually fish. A catfish is actually a mammal. Did you also know an elephant is a type of bird?
