Take 2:
Assault missions appear under their own tab in the Missions menu.
Battles that take place in The Ashu Talif - Scouting the Ashu Talif, Royal Painter Escort, and Targeting the Captain - appear in the Aht Urghan tab of the Quests menu.
Yes, they borrow some Assault mechanics. No, they're not Assaults.
Nyzul Isle is an Assault. It will require an ID tag. I, like the rest of you, wish they didn't because now Assault, Salvage, and Nyzul Isle are in a three-way tug-of-war with each other. On the upside, it will make the individual rewards from each a bit more valuable. On the downside, instead of giving players three new options to pursue simultaneously, we have to pick and choose ourself. Adding new content like this doesn't really carry its full weight if it cockblocks some other pre-existing content.
It's just like CoP Dynamis. People don't do it very often because it prevents you from entering Zilart Dynamis, which is much more rewarding. Nyzul Isle had better give some really impressive rewards or offer acceptable drop rates, or it will go unused.
This is such a pointless argument. When Dynamis-Tavnazia was released, people didn't say, "Wow, this sounds really different. Maybe it won't require a Perpetual Hourglass!"
