I think that if people want to switch servers, they need to have a certain amount of people, lets say 5, from the server they want to switch to, sponsor them.

If there were a time restriction on switching servers, I'd suspect the economy would still balance across all servers. It would be pretty simple to make 2 new transporter mules, one on your server and one on the target server. You'd send the local mule to target with gil, send the other mule back with the goods. Delete and repeat.

EDIT: Hmm, I'd assume if they did charge (which they probably will end up doing), it'll be $15 for all characters on your POL ID? $15/character is pretty nasty. =(
