i voted XI because its a great game!!!

but i also enjoyed VIII on ps1, x and x-2 on ps2 and tactitcs... yeah i think i dont have to say anything about that because its great...

by the way the whole ff series is a masterpiece

Voting 8. But my favorite is Tactics. 8 is a great second favorite, as are 10 and 7.

EDIT: My first game on the series was FFIV, but then jumped straight to 7, played 6 up to where I reached the World of Ruin and forgot how far into FFV. Neither managed to hold my interest. FFIV was hardcore challenge-wise, but the storyline was pretty loltastic in some parts imo (specially during the ending when The Baron King presents himself as the Ex-King, and is all happy about giving Cecil the throne lolol). FFIX was great, it reminded me a lot of the SNES FFs. Too bad my PS1 blew up after I got to the final dungeon (dont ask...) and I never got to finish it. Regardless, FFT HAS THE BEST STORYLINE OF ALL TIMES D:

One thing I disliked about OT's story was that on a first play through of it I was rather dissapointed with how the story turned out, I felt like I made good choices when I had the options to, but despite that the story really seemed to fall apart regardless, which I found to be disheartening.

9, I've listed why so many other times that I just don't feel like doing it again. But it's not only my favorite FF game, but my favorite game in general. Love it. Love it. Love it.

Why aren't there more FF9 fans around like you? Game never gets any love, wth! KUJA OWNS PEOPLE!

Not to mention I think FF9 has the best soundtrack out of any FF, and it doesn't fall short of other RPGs either... it's a masterpiece.

Kefka is the best villain anyone could ask for...

The Secret of Monkey Island was my first RPG(ish), followed by Chrono Trigger which sealed my addiction for RPG's. VI was priceless.

FFIX, mainly because I liked the setting. I'm not too into rpgs that take place in a future setting.

VII was my most memorable because it was my first and got me into FF. Just cause you didn't understand the story Xeno doesn't make it crappy. Cloud was confused and thought he was Zack for a bit. The game was hyped to hell but it was hella fun imo. I have played it more then any of the others and still think it was one of the best games I have played. I was literally sad irl, as I'm sure others were, when (Aerith died.) It's prolly one of the few times a game has ever actually tugged on my emotions.

Tactics was hella fun tho and I might have voted that if it was on. Loved that game.

VIII and IX were ok. X was good but I think it was missing something to make it great. I'm not sure what.

X-2.. JP ppl are weird with their cosplay.

XII again, missing something to make it great but it was solid.

XI has been great other then the oversights SE has made with cheating and RMT. Some of the storyline in XI is great, some is lacking. I would say it's third on my list tho, behind VII and Tactics.

^^ Agreed with 90% of this...VI was the first RPG I ever played back in 7th grade and I was hooked from there on...Chrono Trigger was next which made me <3 RPG's even more....I voted VI cuz it got me in to RPG's overall and had a great storyline and boss....VII is just a hair behind that also great boss and overall great storyline...X and XII were missing just a little something to make them really great and the rest were just solid games IMO....and wtf with X-2 Sailor Moon type shit

FF4 and FF6 are my 2 favourites. FF4 was first one I played back in elementary school(age 10 maybe?)

I liked the characters in ff4 the best, but I liked ff6 overall moreso, alot more to do in it, and it had better graphics..mode 7 baby! lol.

Was the third FF I played (though I really don't think I should count FF on the NES when I was five; I had no idea how to play the game, yet somehow got the pirate ship and ended up in elfland.) The gameplay wasn't as good as some of the other FFs, but I loved the story and characters the best out of all the FFs so far.

FFVIII for me, it was my first FF and got me into every other FF and RPGs. Though I like all of them apart from II, played that for about 5 mins and stopped lol. IX had the best music and probably FMVs aswell, and lol at X-2 voting! Nice battle system but not much new from X, resized monsters and recolored ftl

Tactics was amazing, everything in it was. I need to replay it sometime. Also, I feel like X-2 is totally underrated. I think people expected it to be like all the other FFs because SE had gone so long w/o releasing a normal FF. Just because the story wasn't as amazing as 7 or 10 or whatever (it beats 8's in my opinion) doesn't mean it is a failure. Honestly, I feel that X-2 had the best gameplay. The jobs were fun and flexible, and it was really replayable. Alot of it wasn't very hard, but the final bosses and getting 100% was annoying yet worth it. Also, I really enjoyed FFX. I felt like the characters were great a varied and each had their own personalities and conflicts and an actual purpose. X is tied with VII for my favorite story, but X>VII because I'm a sucker for amazing graphics. I'm sure a remake of VII would turn me over to it for first (well second). Also, I hated VIII with a passion. Bad story, bad magic/weapon systems, and not many great traits otherwise. Oh, and FF3 sucks. Very dissappointed there.
