Some say that his acting as Two-Face was some of the worst ever. I was just kind of floored you liked it.

Anyway, hopefully they let Harvey Dent develop as a character.

He was definitely better than Mr Freeze and Poison Ivy. I enjoyed him and Jim Carrey.

I would agree, by a lot. But maybe that's because he murdered the Two-Faced/Harvey Dent character. Harvey Dent is one of the more unique members of the Batman's rogue gallery. He even became a good guy in batman's place for awhile.

And really, how can't you cringe every time you see him with that suit/make-up.

I completely agree with you. Two-Face is a very deep character. His role in Batman III (Forever?) was just a travesty, thrown as a side plot into what amounted to a (bad) Jim Carrey vehicle. In the movie, Two-Face was already created, his back story was explained in a 10-second news snippet, and just completely glossed over. That was the worst of the Batman movies (at least the Clooney film gave itself completely over to camp), and don't even get me started on what they did to the Riddler.

This movie would ideally have Harvey Dent as himself for the vast majority of the film, and have Two-Face emerge late in the film to be the villain in the next film, similar to the Green Goblin. Let things simmer and develop. Two-Face goes from being tragic character to vaudeville sideshow if you don't meet Harvey Dent first. (see "The Long Halloween" and "Dark Victory" graphic novels for a good Two-Face story).

Too many superhero films try to cram too many characters into a two hour film. Two-Face, Riddler, Catwoman, Penguin, Joker are all deep enough to support their own movie as a main villain. Batman Begins managed to do a decent job of balancing Ras'al'Ghul and Scarecrow, but the Scarecrow was never much more than a sidekick anyway. Mad Hatter, Maxie Zeus, Black Mask, Scarface could all be thrown into a movie as a 'side' villain if they needed one.

I'm worried about the same thing in Spider Man 3, though. Green Goblin, Sandman and Venom all in one film? Hmmm.

I don't think they're going through the complete Venom storyline in 3, I think it's just going to be the area where the Venom parasite takes over Peter Parker, leading into Venom on 4. That's what it looked like to me anyways.

And from what I understand the Green Goblin bit is fairly shortlived, could be wrong again tho.

Bummer. I hope they put Sam Raimi at the helm of more comic movies. He did an excellent job on the Spiderman series.

The movies are good, better than any of superhero movie, but I have some beef with it. Basically, it isn't Spiderman fighting in that movie. There is no awesome trash talk which pretty much is Spiderman's most appealing feature.

They need to make Deadpool cameo in some movies. Make him aware that he is in a movie and just fuck shit up for no reason. Like the movie should end with him walking around talking to himself, see Peter Parker, sees MJ, throws Peter Parker off a bridge, then starts hitting on MJ, and the movie ends with Spiderman(who got change while he fell) punching him in the face.

Also WB was on the fence about doing 2 Batman and 2 Superman movies and then do 1 with Batman/Superman together as a Worlds Greatest Team-up sort of movie.

Harry is not the Green Goblin he should be in the presona of the Hobgoblin. Sandman was a factor in killing Peter's uncle (Ben). Venom is shown as venom not black spidey, the symboite takes over Eddie Brock(Topher Grace) at the end of the trailer

Weird thing is when you watch thru the trailers slowly you can see Sandman's death scene, and Peter getting owned by someone not seen

Deadpool movie would be awesome. There are so many ways they can churn out that movie. Assassin for hire, who knows that he lives in a superhero/villian universe, and the wise cracks he throws out are the greatest.

Hell if Elektra can get a movie (one of the way lesser character in the marvel universe) Deadpool sure deserves his time to shine.

Harvey Dent is in this one, helping to try and catch the Joker, in the climax of the film, in a fight with the Joker or something, he gets he acid on him that turns him into Two-Face, setting him up to be the bad guy in the 3rd film, according to some interview/rumor website I read. Be damned if I can find the link again though.

I loved how they set up The Joker at the end of the 1st movie

That said, I think villians like the Penguin and Riddler might be out of the question

I've heard rumors of The Penguin resurfacing, only this time they're doing it more like in the Adam West days, and making him a Mob boss with a bird obsession, and less like a manbirdthing

Apparently, there is discussion underway to make a Justice League movie using those two to help jumpstart the Wonder Woman and Flash movies...if done right, that movie would be fucking epic.

yeah, marvel wants to make one but couldnt get the guy they wanted to do it in the picture, but marvel said they want the movie so we will see one eventually
probably now that the xmen series is finished for the moment, they will pop out a deadpool, if the punisher 2 does good we will defiantly see an R rated deadpool
