Please wait, more than you already have.
Honestly, even if it's not what you want to hear, a lot of those answers help us get insight on why things are the way they are. So I think this is quite good.
The wiki has a pretty accurate list with totals.Originally Posted by Epical

meh.. i dont know what everyone was expecting them to say... i think their answers were satisfactory for who they are, and what theyve given us in the past...
they're really hyping up nyzul assaults as an alternative to kings.. so maybe theres no need to change kings.... gotta wait till tommorow to find out...
they do recognize the problems such as ulli, sea drop rates, bst in sea, adding more weapons that are class/job specific like ridill -> war hautclaire -> pld
the only real lolz answer they gave was regards to people "fearing" fafnir.. they can already be killed by 1 party.. there is nothing to fear... though i can understand what they're trying to say... whats an RPG without some large dragon hidden away in some dungeon....
and people actually want to see other SE game characters in vanadiel? thats just stupid... last thing i wanna see are disney characters from KH suddenly popping up for no reason...
(lol i started typing this when it was on page2 )
I still find it pretty humorous that they are implying to nerf currency drop rate because so many weapons getting completed. But hey, isnt that what the playerbase wants?
Kefka on the other hand...and people actually want to see other SE game characters in vanadiel? thats just stupid... last thing i wanna see are disney characters from KH suddenly popping up for no reason...
lol @ people thinking that this interview would be any different than the rest.
Seriously, take your heads out of the clouds and stop expecting FFXI to be given to you next month. Realize that they don't give a fuck about you and you'll be a lot better off.

I forgot to mention it in my other post so I'll say it now: They should just make xzomits and euvhis charmable. And maybe hell hounds, too. Perhaps part of a job ability/job trait/equipment that would also allow the BST to charm "greater" monsters and maybe beastmen.
HEY THIS IS A NEW CONCEPT! -_-Originally Posted by Sagacious Sundi

Ummmmmm... are these people on drugs??? If anything they should INCREASE the difficulty of the three Zilart kings... I don't think hundreds of people would camp these NMs daily if they were in any way scared. True, kings drops are difficult to obtain, but that isn't because of the difficulty of the encounter or the dungeon, it's because of the difficulty to claim said mobs. Seriously, my two year old nefew isn't this oblivious. We understand that many players want to fight against strong monsters such as Fafnir or Behemoth and wish to obtain special items. However, we don’t think that a lower difficulty will result in the reduction of game play stress.
It is not difficult to move NMs or HNMs to the battlefield, but it would destroy the uniqueness of each monster. We believe that because these powerful monsters dwell deep inside dungeons, players fear them more and the dropped items resulting from defeat of said monsters have added value because they are difficult to obtain.
Sorry bercus I'm just really pissed at SE's supreme ultimate WOOSH. I really do appreciate your efforts, at least some of the stuff is positive.
Seriously, that was the most retarded responce I've ever read in my life! I'm so pissed...

To me it looks like the new Assault zone or whatever the final ToAU endgame is gonna be dropping Zilart shit, which is really promising. I'm also pretty happy with their answer about Sea trigger drop rates. The virtue stone thing is cool too. Ulli is a mixed bag b/c at least they recognize the problem, but its still a slap in the face to not have it fixed yet b/c this shit is just old and there are easy fixes for it.
At this point, those monsters more or less fear the playerbase. They see 5 people in black armor holding kraken clubs and get scared shitless. We believe that because these powerful monsters dwell deep inside dungeons, players fear them more and the dropped items resulting from defeat of said monsters have added value because they are difficult to obtain.
I don't think the entire thing was bad or a waste, but I'm going to keep coming back to this quote because its so hilarious.

Supposedly the ToAU endgame area will drop unique equipment, if RoZ and CoP are any indication.
