    grammar question

Interjections are words or phrases used to exclaim or protest or command. They sometimes stand by themselves, but they are often contained within larger structures.

now we have established this as fact cause it is.

    in this sentence

Oh, I don't know about that.

oh would be exclaiming the rest of the sentence, correct?

(i'm 22, out of school and college, i'm not asking for homework help so BACKOFF lol)

Depending on how the 'oh' is pronounced it would effect the sentance.

Could come off as exclamation, could come off as depressed.

it's still an exclaiming though, even if there isn't an exclamation point.

Man, I could sure go for a hot dog.

Dude, I told you NOT to pull yet.

    Hey, do we kite faust?

    Ouch, That was mean.

Different emotions and stuff conveyed, but grammatically the same basic idea. Now a counterexample:

Sorry, I thought you guys were done there.

Although it appears the same, the Sorry could be read as a separate clause. Normally it would be rendered as "I'm sorry", so removing the subject makes it an incorrect usage, but it's still pretty common.

Disclaimer: I might only think I know what I'm talking about.

What is the question? If "Oh" in the sentance is an interjection? If so, then yes it is.
    ------------

A part of speech that can stand alone to express emotion or a reaction. Although an interjection can form a complete sentence (that is, expressing a thought without need of a subject and verb), one can often also be inserted within a sentence, usually parenthetically or separated by commas from the rest of the sentence. In written Spanish and English, an interjection frequently is used with exclamation marks.

Interjections are much more common in speech and informal writing than they are in formal writing. Many interjections, such as the English "oh" and the Spanish caray, have meanings that can vary widely depending on the context and the intonation.

It doesnt matter if it is exclamatory or depressive or anything.
