03/07 Data mining thread

@ the mention of no kings on the Nyzul list my only 2 theories are that:

A) the difficulty has been adjusted appropriately so that a 6-man vs the 3 NQ is enough to have put the king drops on them to aviod redundancy in the instance

B) the last 4 levels, 97-100, will include 6-mans vs the most intense HNM: DL, kings, wyrms.

I don't see the point of giving wider access to Ridills and not A bod / M bod / E bod.

And I seriously doubt Alexander being summonable... even more so this update and that being the summoning model.

Meh... people said the same exact thing about Diabolos...everyone and their mother kept telling everyone it will never happen, they wont add new summons, same elements, blah blah blah. So its silly to think that a known avatar from ff past, in model form, that is about the same size as other avatars in the game, not be summonable at some point..

SE said there will be new avatars, which ones, they said they were looking into it. I think this is the first indication of the possible next avatar. And just because he is hinted at being related to automatons doesnt eman he couldnt be an avatar. I dont remember the directly calling alexander a automaton anyway. But even if he was, if an avatar can put her power into a sword, im sure they can do it with a robot.

If you want more info on the process scan send me a PM and I'll get back to you, but I'm 100% sure it scans all processes running. I can't tell if it forwards any information back to POL, but it scans every running process when booted up, even scanned Firefox.exe, so its not looking for specific stuff, just everything running, whether it would be windower, a hack or Microsoft Word.

I'm assuming if it does find windower or w/e the hack programs available are then it may or may not report it to POL, can't tell what it does, just that the scan takes place.

Looks like Square managed to bring a damper to this update. Managed to log in, but it freezes after the first portion of full screen, in which it reminds you about friends etc.

Hah, I'm pumped purely based off the silly melee WHM things I can get.

New Clubs making the max non-relic weapon damage from 42 to 45/46 (breaking a weapon rank, I believe).

And a body piece with haste+4% that tops having to get Nashira body, and capping out haste without needing to waste gil on blessed pumps +1 attempts...

Oh yeah, the rest of the update is hot stuff too!

Ugh.. we really need more macro slots and lines.. I'm excited thinking about new avatars but dread having to re-arrange/delete some of my macros to fit everything.

Because Phoenix resides in the [b] Far East [\b]. And we have yet to visit any content that takes place in the Far east yet.

Yea, used to suck hitting 2 macro for Drain/Aspir and 2 macro for all my gear swaps lol.

Strange, must've been something in one of my files. 3.23 works fine, but if I replace the init or Config with the 3.24, it goes back to crashing. Glad I was just prematurely panicking and nothing came of it.
