A scary thought about Ullikummi is that a lot of people are hoping the pop item is a drop off Aura Statues but, If it's something like a 2-16 hour "???" item you have to find in the zone, i"m so not going to be pleased.

After reading the replies to Bercus's questions, my opinion of SE's ability to relate and respond to its players was at an all-time low.

After seeing this, EVERYTHING has been turned over on it's head.

For people worried about Ulli being a "curtana/brigandish blade" style pop, there is only one new "???" in the Shrine and no new ones (that I have noticed) anywhere else in sky. Same goes for Alky and Pallas (2 new ??? in Upper Delkfutt).

I was never sure how many ??? there were in Halvung so I cant really comment on that one. And theres 17 total ??? in the Temple lol, so I have no idea how many there were before. If any are "curtana" style it will probably be the one for Sozu since 2 other NMs in Temple are popped in that fashion.

It makes me wonder when exactly they finished that interview or some of the questions of that interview before they actually sent it back to Bercus. I didn't expect an Ulli update THIS time around because of the way it was answered in that interview.

All I can say is.. YAY.


On another aside, looking at info in the data mining~

The NQ HNM only in Nyzul Isle: I don't know, I think it's still a (remote) possibility the HQ Abjs may drop off them. The NQ versions are beatable by 6 in half an hour (assuming that's the time limit), which is the only reason I can think of putting those in instead of HQ. But they have to realize that yes, we don't really want more Thunderclouds or Sipars or Dragon Talons (lol).

And I don't think Nyzul Isle is necessarily going to be "easier" than camping, it looks to be very time consuming, and then if it's just random which end mob you get (which I also don't fully understand; to kill some of those with only 6 you're going to want very specific party setups, so I can't honestly imagine there isn't some way to determine what mob you fight, will just take time to figure it out).

I guess we'll see. Perhaps I'm still being overly optimistic, but I think this update has more than proven they're not as completely clueless as they were being accused after the interview responses.
