Oh.my.god...
This is the kind of update that the more you read its details then more you think they are fake, they are the kind of changes WE ALL asked for or wanted in some way, shape or form, and they delivered.
I love how this update was specifically targetted towards RMTs, yeah you can say the fishbots and such are still there, but this is a major blow to GSs overall.
To say this update is a step in the right direction is a hell of an understatement, this is exactly the kind of changes that needed to be done to a game that has so many apparent flaws. I really applaud SE, i truly never saw some of these changes coming.
Say what you want, but better late than ever is the cliché that applies here. Amazing update.

I think that the sheer quantity of NMs in there is going to make it worth doing, regardless of time invested. They've basically put every single worthwhile NM in the game that was monopolized in, and as long as they keep their drops, thats really, really awesome.Originally Posted by Ashira
As far as not seeing KB, Aspid and Nidhogg, I assume it means that either the NQ will have their drops as well, or the drops simply aren't there. Now, it might be disappointing, but the only thing you're really losing is Defending Ring.
Basically, A. Body, M. Body, E. Body and W. Body have alternatives to those who do Salvage, and by not including them into Nyzul, I see it as way to motivate people who simply want to "put kings behind them" into doing it. The major exception would be Defending Ring, but at the very least it gives motivation to still camp at least one of the Kings every day. Every other NM in there will give players who have wanted gear for a very long time the chance to obtain it, without being dicked over by RMT and botting LSes.

Something tells me that if they recognize that RMT Ulli monopolization is a problem, even if they do sit and spam-trade to pop, you can GM them and see some response.
Wow the update looks amazing; hopefully as good as it looks.
.blah
Thank God. We can pop Byakko and Kirin again. This is absolutely a fantastic update, at least in appearances. I'll be able to make a better judgement on the Ulli issue when I see what the droprate on the pop item is. If it is in fact identical to Ro'mauve Water droprate, then I will be most pleased.
Also, not losing xp doing CoP missions is grand. I have been cringing at the thought of the butcher's bill that will be had in getting my brother through CoP.
dont go selling ur nm drops just yet...
since they have a chance to drop a rare/ex version they still gonna drop the non rare/ex of the same. only diff with this update is when rmt get trotter boots they gonna give them to their thf/rng or drop the kote. then come back the next time, get the non rare/ex drop and sell it for twice as much.
p.s. hello morlboger vine bc + cassie earring
new threads of "omg stole my operation desert swarm venomous claw AND serket ring"
It's a shame they didn't make these changes a long time ago when they really should have. Better late then never though. At least it finally seems like they're starting to come around and listen to what players are saying.
Even if they do, it's no longer a bottleneck. You are no longer waiting for 4-21 hrs for a goddamn pop. So wonder what the GSes will do with all those autumnstones they're holding onto now. :DOriginally Posted by Amastacia
No. This is what people thought with the lizzy/valk emp change. It wasn't true then, it isn't true now. It only says "chance to drop" because the new version of the item still will not drop 100%.Originally Posted by savageboy
I logged at ulli, hope it wasn't a mistake. Those statues dropping the pop seems likley, if they do i'll try and get an estimated drop rate. It's probably going to be like water i'd imagine.
HOLY HELL UPDATE OF EPICITY
That would explain why Peacock Charm can still drop instead of the Peacock Amulet, or why Leaping Boots can still drop instead of Binding Boots, or why Emperors Hairpin can still drop instead of the Empress Hairpin..........o wait.Originally Posted by savageboy
I'm fairly certain that they've moved the "normal" drops elsewhere on those mobs, and replaced the drops with the rare/ex, similar to how they did previously.

Its unclear whether they replaced with the rare/ex or added the rare/ex to the loot pool. I am hoping they replaced it.Originally Posted by savageboy
