[HAcoreRD]

The enmity gained when using “Chocobo Mazurka” or “Raptor Mazurka” has been reduced.

A dragoon’s wyvern will now perform the following emotes along with its master:

blush/bow/cheer/clap/dance/goodbye/hurray/joy/panic/point/salute/surprised/wave




The conditions for certain Notorious Monsters to appear, as well as certain treasure drops, have been adjusted in the following manner:

- The method for obtaining the items listed below has been adjusted.
The monsters that dropped these items now have a chance of dropping an EX/Rare item with the exact same attributes.

Fuma Kyahan/Speed Belt/Ochiudo's Kote/Strider Boots/Healing Staff/Eurytos' Bow/Cross-Counters

- The Notorious Monsters listed below now require a certain item to be traded in a certain location in order to appear.

Big Bomb/Alkyoneus/Pallas/Sozu Rogberry/Ullikummi

- The items listed below can now be obtained through different methods.

Cassie Earring/Serket Ring/Juggernaut
*The Juggernaut will still also drop from the usual monster, but at a lower probability.

- The “Lock of Siren's Hair” will be removed from the treasure dropped by the following Notorious Monsters.

Voll the Sharkfinned/Zuug the Shoreleaper/Pahh the Gullcaller/Worr the Clawfisted
*In accordance with this change, the drop rate of this item from monsters other than the four mentioned above will be increased.

- An item to replace the “Kraken Club” has been added to the treasure dropped by the “Lord of Onzozo.”

- Certain items obtained from the Notorious Monsters holding the “Virtues” in Lumoria will now drop with 100% probability.

Hate to bitch over the awesome update notes, but I find the lack of mention in salvage drop rate on cells slightly disturbing...

Though if sea is any indication of how they deal with broken content...we'll see improvement by next year.

Ok, the update looks good, but how about some actual discussion instead of just "omg SE"...

Such as:

"Certain items" could mean torques. They refer to jailers as "the monsters dropping Virtues", so I don't see why they wouldn't just say "Virtues are now 100% drop rate".

As far as the poppable items go...just gonna be competing for something other than the actual NMs themselves. Hopefully there will be an adequate amount of mobs that drop the items, though.

Just because it's Rare/Ex doesn't mean that there won't be tons of competition at the camp. In fact there will probably be even more because people will feel it's more within their reach since people won't camp to sell it anymore.

I don't know about your server, but KA is basically owned by RMT on Seraph. There will be competition yes, but from real players not botting RMT.

Speed Belt = yay. But it all comes down to where the new source of the items are.

This is the single best change in the update. Not just for Ullikummi, being able to force pop the other NMs is huge too.

I would guess that it is something 2-Handed to prevent Dual Wielding.

- Certain items obtained from the Notorious Monsters holding the “Virtues” in Lumoria will now drop with 100% probability.

The wording on this is misleading. It says "certain items" will now drop 100%, not specifically that the Virtues will. They could be making the Torques 100% drop and it would still fit the description.

MG and Zip. That is my first thought, but man compared to Ulli, they are short spawns and have no pop conditions, so the risk really is nothing compared to Ulli.

Instead, bots will be placed at their spawn points.

Yeah competition for Speed Belt and Striders are gonna be fierce now, which is why, even though I'd like both, I don't plan on camping either for a good long time.

To be fair, you will almost never see an update to balance a new game system in the next update after it is released. Even if 100 people submit feedback the day after the system is released, their process almost certainly has the schedule planned at least 1 update in advance. Meaning that starting today, they are already working on the NEXT update. As such, submitting feedback will result in your suggestions being implemented, at the earliest, the update after next. So maybe next update we can see some Salvage changes.

KA is probably one of the most botted NMs in the game.
It was owned by JP in latency delay days, owned by normal player botters after that. Owned by RMT botters today because ppl dont' like to compete w/ RMT. The 150 normal players crowding it now will all be botting the same as RMT were, don't delude yourself.

Not to mention, if it still drops Dama cloth, there is no reason for RMT to stop camping it. Dama cloth every day makes more $ than a speed belt once a month.
