What's the evil plan and nooooooooooo at Gessho being evil. ; ; Unless it's more of a save-the-world evil plan.
Gessho isn't evil he just doesn't want alexander to be revived and randomly slaughter everyone. Heres from the Far East a la tenzen's country just a spy it would seem. He's trying to pact with mamool ja to take down the near east because they are trying to revive alexander and pretty much destroy everything. at least the Grand Vizer wants to.

Also is the stupid singing cs the last thiing? If so this was pretty mediocre for difficulty and length. (Though I went wit ha shout group a la random retards and pretty much soloed everything so it wasn't all that easy)

    That really sucks.

None of these plot twists with the exception of the Grand Vizier being part Lamia is anything I didn't expect. This brings up an issue though. When you first meet Aphmau, both her and the "Empress" are present and speak individually of one another. Plot twist?

    SPOILERS

It's somewhat save-the-world evil. He will have the warriors of the far east attack from the eastern front while the mamool attack from the west, in one coordinated attack, since the empire would be unable to sustain an attack on both fronts. After the invasion of Aht Urhgan, they will destroy Alexander beyond repair, thus saving the Mamool Ja, and potentially all of Aradjiah, or whatever the eastern continent is called. Furthermore, the Age of Judgement is that picture where the city is engulfed in flames with Alexander standing overhead, and the Dark Rider is fighting Alexander. You know, Luzaf's painting! Also, the ARII or whatever they're called (the automaton and archeology organization place) has managed to create a synthetic candy which is compatible with the various parts of Alexander. Infact, it is even more potent than the real candy! The only thing the Empire is missing in order to get Alexander up and operate him is the control thing, which they are searching for. They believe that in order to find it, they should use a blueprint of Alexander, and where is that blueprint? Suspected to be right in Aht Urhgan itself... as the Gordeus.

Fun note that could be useful for speculation of the obvious: Aphmau's automatons came "alive" when they were in the Hall of Binding. Gee, I wonder why.

The "third puppet" the Grand Vizier mentions in an earlier cutscene perhaps? Or is that Alex?

I GUESS NOT INCOMING DRAMA*

But what's really interesting is the fact that...

    SPOILERS
Actually, this isn't really a spoiler, I just want to freak people out who aren't reading the spoilers. Should be fun to see their reaction... OMG SO MUCH DRAMA AND SPOILERS... maybe it'll motivate them to do the missions and experience it for themselves.

It kinda reminds me of the story of how I chose my name. About 7:45 one night I realize that I had 3 books to return to the library and about 15 minutes left to do it in. So I jump up and was immediately attacked by my dog, Grendel. Most nights Grendel gets a walk between 7:00 and 8:00 PM, something we missed the night before because of all the rain, so she was full of energy to burn.

So I piled her and the books into my car and zoomed off to the library and Grendel did her best to cause me to crash. I get there with enough time to return the books, one of which I wanted to renew.

"One of these books was renewed once (once is the limit) on my mom's card. Can I just renew it on mine now?" I asked.

The lady gave me a weird look and told me they frowned on them doing that. I had to stop myself from pointing out that my mom had done the same thing the other day with one of her books. "However," the lady went on. "I can check this book in right now and place it on the carts, anyone can check it out then." She then quickly scanned the book then passed it back to me. "There," She said with a conspiratorial smile. "It's on the carts." So I checked it out and returned to the car.

Why does everyone break the same rules in a different way? Does the world just have too many loop holes allowing for too many confusing variations in style? Or do people's weird personal codes exist no matter the rules? Oh well I had my book.

Anyway I dropped my books off at the car and walked the dog a few blocks down to the courthouse square. A lot of people were out enjoying the summer weather. Live guitar music came from the front of the guitar store, mainly practice sounds. A few couples were dressed up and headed to The City Office & Pub (the only 4 star restaurant/bar in town) and high schoolers were out cruisin' the streets without mufflers. I noticed that all the doors to the old theater were open and you could see the gutted interior and a lone man in work cloths. Small town life at it's finest I suppose.

I let the Grendel off the lead, like I always do, so she could run through the grass. I guess there is some irony in breaking a city ordinance on the courthouse lawn but it's a pathetic excuse for a crime spree so I don't get any giggles over it. We did a lap around the building and I had a short conversation about Grendel with some random dude twice my age, Despite the topic he chose, I'd say he was more interested in meeting me than my dog but maybe I'm cynical.

Finally, I put Grendel back on the leash and walked over to the old movie theater. I'd spotted a single man working within so I walked up to the door and caught his eye. He invited the two of us in. I logically assumed he was the new owner and we started talking about the state of disrepair the last owner left had left it in. He'd basically used it as a warehouse of junk. Four feet of worthless crap had covered the entire theater. All of the seating, counters, and bathroom fixtures had to be replaced.

The man was in full PR mode. He was extremely open with me and any other person that walked by the theater. I got the feeling he'd left the doors open to encourage community dialogue. Twenty years without a theater down town is a long time. People are pretty disenchanted considering that for the past 6 years there had been a sign in the window stating: "Theater opening in 2000!," before that "in 1997!", "in 1996!", "in 1994!" and so on.

I asked him a bit about his business plan and what type of movies he'd show. He said he'd only be showing old movies or indy stuff once a week the rest of the time he'd run it as a basic dollar theater. Not exactly what I'd hoped for but small towns are rarely known for their high culture. I said goodbye and jogged most of the way back to the car.

As I approached my car, I thought to myself "I sure could use a good khamsin right now", since it was a bit chilly out and a khamsin is a type of hot wind, like a sirocco. It also means "50" in Arabic, and my automaton's name is Dreizehn which is "13" in German. Combined, 1350 has a special meaning to me since it is my WPM rate in LS chat. I decided to use Khamsin as my name because it describes me so well.

    And that's my story.

...well, actually it's somebody else's story. I just plagiarized it from some random blog I found. But I figure it'd make good filler. But you know what, I bet you want to hear it all over again since I'm such a good storyteller-- er storyplagiarizer.

    Spoilers

You forget Aphmau IS a puppetmaster afterall, she can probably throw her voice to sound as if it's coming from behind the curtain.
And Alexander isn't named Alexander at all. When referencing the painting, they mentioned the fight between Alzadaal and the Dark Rider.

BTW, Lancelord Gaheel Ja is probably PLD/DRG as he does cast magic, but still uses a polearm and rides his pet Wivre. Isn't it Strifelord Bakool Ja that's the DRG with 3 wyverns, sorry fuzzy on Strifelord details. But it does hint that besiege will at least get bumped up to lvl 8 in a later update at the very least since the 4th Mamool Overlord doesn't currently take part in besiege. The 4th overlord is a Sahagin named Ratol Ja.

Also during the CS's in Jade Sepulcher, listen to what Luzaf says, he was supposed to meet with Mamool Ja Overlords but was late. We know Luzaf has an agreement with the Trolls to strike Al Zahbi, but this hints that he may have a similar agreement with the Mamool Ja additionally with Gessho's Eastern Empire since that's what their discussion concerned. Now that Luzaf has the automatons though, another plan/opportunity to destroy Alzadaal arose.

I can almost see an ending forming already. Razfahd was passed up as the emperor because of his status as a chimera, Aphmau was chosen even though she doesn't want to. Luzaf and Gessho have a common goal of destroying Alzadaal/Alexander. The Far Eastern forces and the beastmen launch a coordinated attack on the awakened Alzadaal. Aphmau goes to stop her brother. He strikes her down. With that one move, he can seize the throne AND pin the blame on Luzaf who is viewed by the Empire as an enemy already. Final battle is with Razfahd in the depths of Alzadaal. He's struck down and with his dying breath, prepares to set Alzadaal to ruin everyone's shit a'la Eald'narche. Luzaf walks in, smashes the Candies, crisis averted.

Insert potential sequence where Odin breaks free of Luzaf once again and attacks you.

Btw, anyone notice with the song the end, the lyrics/syllables match the generic singing tune perfectly? That's hilarious.

I could have sworn they actually say "Alexander" in the CSs. Like, in that CS after Periqia when you go back to Naja, with Ghatsad and Razfhad and the map, they say "Wouldn't Alexander want to be revived?"

Also, how do we know the Aquatic overlord is a Sahagin?

Unless there is a CS somewhere I am unaware of, or I just missed something.
