Seems like Striders are going to drop from Prehistoric Pidgeons (the one with 4 greater birds), Cassie Earring from the Evil Oscar fight, and Serket Ring from Operation Desert Swarm. Anyone have a idea where speed belt might be?

The Crab BCNM is level 20 I believe.

Unless it's been proven, I don't think it comes from BCNMs actually.

I have the gut feeling on the new source being Nyzul.

If anything about the new Thief's Knife drop rate bugs me, it's seeing the same people farming for hours after they've gotten their new knife because they're getting one for every damn THF in their LS. Come on people, I've been there for hours and you have one already. Make your other THFs do a little work?

Especially the MNK/NIN who had one in his bazaar and was still hunting Pursuers with a vengenace. Come on, man, you don't even have any TH.

yeah a lot of people are getting pretty greedy, where they getting knives>>sending it to delivery/friend>>coming back for more knives.
I hope this isnt just a glitch, or some people are going to make a shitload of money from this, selling multiple knives, and others who didnt have any luck are gona get oh so fucked.

Spent about 3 hours down at Sozu trying to get a knife for a friend with no luck on the pop item drop. That place is a cluster fuck, 30-40 people there at the time we were. Obviously SE intended for this to be 100% as it is not stated in the "currently known issues".

I don't understand why people still think they can sit there and make gil from farming the knife, the price will surely go to shit soon. Anyway, after getting annoyed last night we decided to say screw it and left, we'll probably go back in a week or two... or my friend will just buy the knife from the AH when they drop below 100k.

Also, when I woke up this morning I searched the temple and there were 50+, lmao.

Most of the people I spoke to weren't thinking "Ohoho, I can make lots of money." They were thinking "Crap, what if this is a glitch? Better get a knife for all of our THFs so we can get max benefit before they fix it!" Which is mildly better... but still a bit grating.

And SE might not state it in the issues if they think that it would cause things to get even worse down there.

I think if it was a mistake that was going to be fixed, it would have been done already. Granted i don't know exactly how the system works, but a mass rollback would rollback everything, including things done legitimately.

they could just go through and delete all knives dropped in the last 24 hours if it was really a glitch.

If they plan on fixing it, they wouldn't give any warning, as that'd affect people's actions. Same reason they don't warn when they're going to make any other change that might affect parts of the economy.

Dropped from Tonberry Pursuer within Temple of Uggalepih and Tonberry Trailer within Den of Rancor.

Has it been confirmed that Sozu's pop item also drops from the Trailers..? this is the first time i have seen this mentioned.

Server wide i can't say, but knowing that it is 100% drop rate, in about a 3-4 hour period when i was in uggalepih earlier today at least 10 people popped sozu. And that's only when i was near sozu's spot, not the hour i spent behind the prelate door.

You know Slaut, once I got my knife, I told myself I would NEVER go there again. But I put that knife up for 5Mil right after I found out they were going 100% and it sold earlier today.

Now, just the unfun part of getting another pop item.

I just spoke with a member of my LS, he confirmed the drop from Tonberry Trailer in Den. That at least helps *some* of the claim fest of pursuers.

Haven't seen a single piece of info on Big Bomb yet.

Just killed it, the smoky flask trigger item dropped off the very first bomb, and then Big Bomb dropped the bomblet :D. However, only the 2 bombs that pop on the bridge drop it (Or only bombs that cast magic, it seems every other bomb in the zone except the 2 that used to be PH are normal bombs now, they dont grow big, cast spells, and only use Zerk/Self-Destruct.) Whether the drop rate got a massive increase or we just got very lucky is too early too tell now though. (And again, for anyone thinking bomblet is going to be cheaper now, i'd doubt it would change much as right now only the 2 bombs on the bridge drop the trigger, and both have 16min pop times.)
