Given SE's wry sense of humor in many aspects of this update, I wouldn't be surprised if they caught on to all our ebon panel theories and made use of them for just that reason. Think of Taisaijin and his refresh scroll. lol

Doubtful, I'm not even sure the crafting system supports crafting something into an item that has a RARE flag on it.

the only one i know off the top of my head is the wyvern helm synth using the ra/ex skull used in opo quest
