Nyzul Isle Initial Findings

Just a follow-up to confirm what other people have said about the Fafnir clone, he has low defense (well, low as in Aura Statue-esque), and probably around 15k HP, but he is most definitely a Fafnir. When shadows dropped he hit me for 300+, and his wings were doing 350+ with Shell IV up. And 30 second fear is highly annoying when you have so little backup.

Oh, and he is highly kitable (don't ask how I know that).

One other thing, if you get any nice melee drinks on 16-19, save them for the boss. I popped a Barbarian's Drink (ATK+) and a Champion's Drink (Crit+, actually reads "Grants effect of Potency." Wtf?), and my first Jin did almost 1100 damage. Lasts a good while too, the WAR had to use Mighty Strikes to peel hate off me.

we had a fucked up floor last night...was kill all monsters dont kill gears. Thing is there were like 10 gears....and all unavoidable. -.-

Had a good 15mins after killing behe on floor40, so we checked floor 41. Found Roc!

It used 2hours and everything, and had a crapload of HP and took a few mins to kill. (Damn Benediction)

my Assault group got screwed pretty hard too rofl, we got a Soulflayer NM With a no White-magic Pathos(Soul-voice Paeon lolz), Killed Behemoth with no drop at all.

our next tag? Everybody's favorite lamp floor, effectively ending our assault for that night

5 lights, all surrounded by gears, giant birds (w/o a bard), slimes etc.

After 15 minutes and 2 people dying from agro we just said fuck it. I think there is a point where you really do need to just kill stuff around the lamps (maybe not the gears, but random DC mobs).
Stupid light in order floors are time consuming enough without the stupid ass gears.

Keep in mind you can kill the gears and still advance. The only thing killing them will do is reduce your tokens that you receive at the end.

I think the negative effect of killing the gears changes every time. One time my group only got token reduction for killing gears, the other time we got Pathos
