what kind of droprate is everyone getting on the lvl20/40/60/80 bosses? 0/2 so far on lvl 20.

Pretty easy with proper setup and anyone with experience at a real fafnir. Just need a bit of luck with the random sickness given and time you have left for that floor.

We got to Fafnir last night, Floor 20. Setup was NIN, WAR, BLU, COR, RDM, BLM. I didn't notice any sickness, but I wasn't looking for it either.

To make a short story even shorter, Fafnir used Hurricane Wing for 498 damage three times in 45 seconds. The end.

We decided we probably had both bad luck and a sub-optimal pt setup. What kind of setup would you recommend that would both be good against the kings and would still allow rapid progression through the four levels to get to the king? We have some members who have fought the real kings before and some who have not.

NIN tanked like normal, MNK and THF did FH > SB for light, BLM magic bursted.

But even though it was a joke at least we're getting to fight the mobs, which in itself is fun.

Got to Fafnir with like 4 min left last night and a weak blm.. I was trying to do as much damage as possible on thief and managed to trigger flail around 20%, but then we got kicked out before the flail went off.. got a SS somewhere..

Are people bringing THFs to these? My group isn't far along yet, but we bring TH4 every time. We've gotten at least 3 NM appraisals and are 1/1 on lvl20 Behemoth, which is only boss we've fought.

My group is 0/593741974 with a thf, on floor 46 and we've had to repeat floors a few times.

I don't think thf affects appraisal.

So take your damn luck and diaf.

ya my group hasn't had much luck on drops off HNM's there either. We got Denali pants once. Same thing with regular NM drops, not a single one yet.

Juli may wanna verify this, as i don't think im over exxagerating when i say that we have had well over 50 items appraised. Haven't had a single successful appraisal. 0:4 on the 20,40,60, and 80 NMs. No THF for any of the kills. After we hit 100 this weekend hopefully, we'll start farming the /20's with a THF =/

ok, so i can officially say, the Vile Ineef mega boss, is by far the worst one, psycheflayer type, with near insta cast aga3's. Owned my pt in like 10 seconds.
