I would assume they pop out the boss.
edit: we killed one after we killed turtle too, nothing special.

We kill them, makes it easier to kite Faffy with a manaburn setup. ;pOriginally Posted by Alastaire
looking at the fact that hitting floor 100 erases the runic disc, and that the only special difference with floor 100 is the addition of the lv JSE weapons, there has to be a reason that SE intentionally makes it hard to get or unspammable.
hopefully the guy who got the burning claws will go back and test the weapon further. i'm pretty certain that there is some hidden effect or latent to be triggered.. but it'll probably take a while to uncover, just as Octave Club took some time to figure out.
the main problem i see is that if the job of the weapon that drops is something that none of the members can use, then the whole runic disc would have been pretty much wasted... its also possible that the drop of the item depends on what jobs the leader has at 75? Seeing as how he ended up getting the item (im assuming he can use it)
in the meantime, farming up to lv 80 and then spamming the boss blocks would seem like a good way to get the non-head pieces of the 3 new EQ sets.
It's also possible they expected you to go in cycles of 100 floors, with one chance for feet/legs/hands/body/head from the 3 new sets along the way. Assuming you clear 5 floors per tag with a 6-man party (and after some experience, this should probably be the case even if you get psychflayer floors and lamp floors), it will take like 9-10 months to get 6 people to floor 100, using 3 tags a week and leaving the other 3-4 tags for AP for Salvage. That feels like a long time, but it's a fraction of the time that it would take to say, gear up a 12-man static in Homam or Nashira starting from scratch, etc. (Obviously there's a huge difference between fully gearing 12 people and six 40% chances per slot to gear six people, but I was trying to find a reasonable comparison, and this is the first thing I came up with.)
As for the random weapon drops, it could be coincidence that the piece that dropped was something someone in their group could equip, or for all we know it could be based on the job of the person who used the armband, or who used the runic disk, or a random drop among the 6 jobs in the PT; although given the history of SE and random drops, I'm not holding out any hope for any of those possibilities. No way to really know though until more groups start clearing floor 100 and trying stuff out. ;x
Of course... now that people know what happens on floor 100, I think its going to be a while before people actually TRY that floor now. Nobody wants to lose their memory before they have all the previous set pieces that they want.
If that key item really does let you skip lamp floors though, then people might do it. lol
Lamp floors are the easiest floors in Nyzul, so that wouldn't really help. :/Originally Posted by divisortheory

I thought of an idea on how you could farm the 100 boss without losing memory. If its like the other floors, then you have to activate the Rune or release after the boss to exit. Assuming that the boss drops the item like all the others do, then you should just be able to kill the boss, get the drop, then time out or just warp or whatever.
If for some reason killing the boss automatically boots you, then you get the boss to <5% and the person with the info uses the Fireflies and warps out before it registers them as getting the win. (I'll try to test tonight to see if that kicks everyone else out or something stupid).
Unless SE cock-blocked this by making it a Limbus-esque chest to get your final drop that warps you straight out, or somehow remembers who the leader was regardless of if they were there to get the win, then one of these ways should work with no problem. If someone here knows Japanese and is on the server with the guys who cleared it, then we should definitely ask them how the last boss worked.
I think someone said getting to the 100th floor wipes memory. Not clearing it. So if you get there and wipe memory and fail... well... tough shit.Originally Posted by Sylvrdragon
Yeah... scratch everything I just posted. I just read that it erases at 99...
Edit: Although, does the person with the memory have to be the one to hit the rune on floor 99? What if they warp or log out before THAT point? (Assuming you can take the boss with 5)
i would like to know if it wipes the whole groups memory or if u can keep 1 person saved at floor 80( to farm armor pieces) and make the other ppl go up to floor 100 for last pieces weapons and key item
all memory recording only happens to the leader, the guy with the runic disc...
but nobody is too sure about the 99 wipe.
does it have to be the leader who checks?
what if someone else checked it? then that other persons disc gets cleared? then u can still farm the 100th floor?
Nobody knows because nobody wants to go to floor100 now until they get other items
LOL. pwned.
The person who loads the level is the person who gets the info saved, always, no matter who touches.
You can't have someone load, then have another person save, it doesn't work that way
Although, there might be a way to glitch it by having the loader DC or something, if anyone wants to try... that would be technically an exploit though, if it even works. (Most likely you'll just not be able to save at all if leader not there, but who knows?)
That made me lol.Originally Posted by Anger
