That's why you alllllways go left when going to a boss floor. >_>
We got a black magic restriction on a floor where we had to kill 6 Poroggo Gents... so not only did we have to kill every last add, but we couldn't stun spells or sleep froggies... big pain in the butt, but hardly compares to Fafnir. Should have chosen the floor on the right!!!!
I haven't seen any "Blue Magic Restriction" yet. Head Butt works for us when fighting froggies, as well has Healing Breeze / Magic Fruit on those no-WHM levels.Originally Posted by Mofro

Has anyone tested (hah) whether or not the Fafnir in Nyzul can Spike Flail?
99% sure there were screenshots showing that "the Fafnir" does use Spike Flail.
We definitely got flailed and it was definitely "The Fafnir" lol. I'm sure one of my static members got a screenshot if I didn't, I'll check when I get home. It's worth noting though that it wasn't a super-wipe attack like you'd expect, it only really got our mages and maybe the THF. I survived and I'm usually swatted like a bug when it comes to physical attacks.
Maybe I missed something in the thread but; what is the difference between going left or right when advancing to the next floor? Anything besides just a random selection between 2 generated floors?Originally Posted by Millael

There is no point saving the "100th" floor tho, unless you want the useless key item. If the leader warp out, it would be very unlikely his level get reseted. You have to be in the zone for stuff like this. The person who loads the level is the person who gets the info saved, always, no matter who touches.
You can't have someone load, then have another person save, it doesn't work that way
Although, there might be a way to glitch it by having the loader DC or something, if anyone wants to try... that would be technically an exploit though, if it even works. (Most likely you'll just not be able to save at all if leader not there, but who knows?)
One of those floors will give a random pathos (can be a buff like +30 str like a gd no ninjutsu allowed DOriginally Posted by Jackyl

Aren't you the person i see every now and then defending CoP when its bashed?[/quote]
Friend reported they got "Blue Magic has been disabled" pathos tonite, lol. I would assume it picks a random pathos from the jobs you have.Originally Posted by fndragon

Got a Gem Heister Roorooroon on floor 25 and this thing is evil. Dude drops AOE Mines then runs away bomberman style. rofl. AOE was hitting for 300-400 with Stoneskin up. Tried to stun his mine tossing, but wasn't successful and we ended up wiping. Got Western and Eastern Shadow and ended up with a Crossbow. fUCK you SE. -.-t.
Anise Custard seems to absorb magic bursting and damage from skillchains. We ended up meeling the fat POS.
Dahaks on floor 24 are evil. They have a frontal cone stone and body slam and nullsong just suxs. I suggest less DD on this thing the better.
Mint Custard absorbed Thunder damage, but not Blizzard (or may have been the other way around, sorry it was a couple weeks ago ;x). I'm guessing each custard has 1 element they absorb.
ToA has yet to impress me with endgame content. >_> Nyzul,Salvage and Assault could have been awesome, but they decided to make them painful like CoP dynamis, instead of going for something rewarding like Limbus/Dynamis.Originally Posted by Kuya
And yes, I did enjoyed CoP. Nothing felt more rewarding for me than beating those mission and gaining access to new area
You basically just said Salvage was horrible and great in the same sentence...Originally Posted by Kaylia
Meant Limbus >_> I'm tired
Meet Dahaks even earlier like on floor 7 or so.Originally Posted by vagus
Keep Utsu / Stoneskin only to lower damage from voidsong, have only tank facing them (turn away from Petro Eyes if have no WHM), keep Utsu up to absorb Body Slam and it's a cake.
Yeah, if you think of each spice as having a color, it's pretty easy to figure out. Anise is usually blue, so it's ice based, fire works well against it, Cinnamon is red, so fire based, so use water, that kind of thing.Originally Posted by Suiram
