Wasn't it confirmed that the same leader will always have static drops? Like you'll always get that drop each time so long as you enter with the same tag?Originally Posted by Akumaronin

Still only 1 goliard and... 3 denali? i think, maybe 2
If you mean that one person as leader only gets one item (for example: if I'm leader and everytime my group does floor 20 we only get Askar) then that is false. My group has gotten all three shoes and I'm the only person in the group with data saved higher than level 0.Originally Posted by Lordwafik

Gonna need extra verification for the following enemies that were "verified" under FFXIclopedia's list of possible specified enemies (single):
-Archaic Ramparts (I honestly think these guys are there just to spit out non-frog/flan/flayer/rat/imp/archaic enemies, or at least be the reason they are there (in other words, you don't see the spitting and you'r supposed to use your imagination))
-Psycheflayers (Seem a bit odd, but if they appear outside of "Eliminate specified enemies" then I'd say these can be under "Eliminate specified enemy")
-Black Puddings (Also seem odd, but if they appear outside of "Eliminate specified enemies" (aren't those Ebony Puddings anyway?) then I'd say these can be under "Eliminate specified enemy")
Also, wondering if both or just 1 of the enemies in the following pairs appear in Nyzul:
Ironshells / Gratclaws (Crabs)
Mousses / Puddings (Slimes)
EDIT: Also what jobs can draugar spawn as?
Also, is it possible that the Astral Plinth/Candy section will be used for a ToAU mission? My current theory is that is where the final battle will take place. >_>
Seen both mouses and puddings. Seen Flayers and puddings on Specified Enemy Floors but they were never the ITG enemy. Never seen Ramparts as Specified enemy, they do count for All enemies though.
edit: wording
there always seems to be 1 archaic rampart on every floor cept for the free floor with the treasure chests.
specific enemies ive gotten: psycheflayers, qiqirin, chariots, imps, porogo gents(frogs), and maybe something else? qiqirin prolly easiest and psycheflayers hardest.
theres also specifed enemy (<-- not plural) which seems it can be any single, normal, non-nm mob... the mob will however check ITG while other mobs identical to it wont. this is prolly easiest floor next to the one lamp deal where everyone just has to touch it.... besides of course the free floor.
drauger is WAR or BLM-usually has ice spikes up.
ive had mouse and puddings on same floor.
Reports of both slimes appearing on the same floor have led me to believe that each floor has a theme (See http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/Talk:As..._Investigation):
Beast theme: Karakul / Tigers / Manticores / Mairds
Lizard theme: Lizards / Raptors / Bugards / Wivres
Vermin theme: Eruca / Spinners / Wamouracampa / Wamoura
Plant theme: Funguars / Flytraps / Leshies / Ameretat
Bird theme: Crows / Colibri / Ziz / Rocs
Aquan theme: Crabs (Ironshells & Greatcalws?) / Pugils / Krakens
Amorphic theme: Leeches / Hecteyes / Slimes (Mousses & Puddings) / Black Puddings (???)
Arcane theme: Evil weapons (killing/ominous) / Pots / Bombs / Clusters
Undead theme: Hounds / Toads / Draugar (is it really WAR/BLM and not THF (dagger)/BLM (staff)?) / Bhoot
Dragon theme: Puks / Wyverns
Dahak theme: Dahak (they are separate??)
Demon theme: Imps / Psycheflayers (???)
a .dat listing of everything before the Bat Eye would help
I can debunk this.Originally Posted by Lordwafik

I think someone misread your question or something earlier regarding puddings. Nothing in Nyzul--both from my experiences there and from a quick check of the .dat file for the zone--is named simply, "Pudding". Furthermore, every slime I've ever encountered there has been named "Mousse". There are however, both Black Pudding and Ebody Pudding, and both are from the "Black Pudding" family of monsters. They can appear together in the same floor as well. For example, several times we've had "Eliminate Specified Enemies", where the Ebony Pudding were the targets, but there were also Decent Challenge Mousse and Black Pudding wandering around the floor as well.
Okay, so I'm going to assume that the first time someone put "pudding" as possible single specified enemy they meant Black Pudding. I hate SE for introducing them as black puddings, and then mostly calling them "flan" in-game (and using both names in their paragraph thing).

Layout 17 (Dahak): Dahak x1
How's that sound? (Why did they choose Mousses to repeat and mix with other mobs towards the end?) Also, do some of the bombs cast magic?
EDIT: Gave the layouts names.
Also, maybe specified plural mobs and gears come in 5 different numbers depending on the floor? Perhaps:
Specified plural mobs: 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 mobs total
Single gears: 4, 8, 12, 16, or 20 mobs total
Triple gears: 2, 4, 6, 8, or 10 mobs total
Another edit: According to the JP wiki, "the fountain of magic is used" is Vile Yabeewa's special power. Wuzzat mean?
Had really good floors last run.
On 16-20 most interesting thing was 'kill all mobs' floor but there were only 4 mobs total on the whole floor.
And of 3 runs not once did we get any gears on any floor.
Very random.

I wonder what do floors with 2 possible exits (exit to the left and exit to the right ones) mean?
Can you predict what to choose or it's just random and you'll get some restrictions for wrong choice?
And about these restrictions - we've got floor with kill all / avoid gears... got some shit like restricted Summoning Magic (w/o single SMN in PT), CHR down (again no BRDs to suffer from it) and at last Black Magic down which was enough to wipe totally. Restrictions for choosing wrong path are that random too?
left or right is usually either a pathos(debuff) or buff... in the case of the buff we have gotten auto haste (stacks with haste spell), auto regen, auto regain, INT boost, STR boost, and CHR boost.
This is promising. I will take notes next time i come to a crossroad.Originally Posted by TT
