    seems like they fixed the lamp order issue in nyzul. Did nyzul yesterday, we found that you aren't require to get either the first or last lamp order to be correct before you can proceed to get the 2nd,3rd and 4th lamp's order.


    For example, in 4 lamps, our first lamp sequence showed first and 3rd is correct. If before the update, it will only show the first lamp is correct order.

    It's always been like that, sometimes it shows any lamp that's in the right order, sometimes it only shows if the first/previous one was correct.

    Has anyone tried warpin out of floor 100 post update? making sure it didnt' change before i get some more weapons for people.

    Went yesterday, nothing has changed. This also includes ridill/dring/hq craft results.

    Which mobs irritate the crap out of you in Nyzul? I nominate Gem-Heister as the most irritating to date but we're not yet farming the floor 60+ bosses cos we're spamming lower levels for feet and then legs. Him and STR down last night, plus some irritating all mobs floors last night...

    We tried floor 1 to 5 yesterday
    5 puddings (gears detection), soulflayers (dex penalty), 5 chariots (had soulflayer around), lamps order (5 in huge floor).....

    After doing 10 floor on our last runs (25-35), losing 1-5 is depressing.

    Dahaks are just annoying period. We don't have issues with flayers because we take a WHM but I'm with you on the frogs...

    Frogs are horrible. I find chariots annoying usually because there are a bunch of them scattered throughout the map, and that instantly becomes a 10-min floor. As far as normal NM's go, Capricious Cassie can end a run pretty quickly via sleep spam and making a floor take 10-20 min.

    I always forget, but it wouldn't be a bad idea to bring poison pots just for Cassie in case you get her on a Kill All floor. Making your melees bring clerics is always recommended anyways and makes Cassie much more safe.

    Yesterday went into nyzul with 3 SAM/WAR. Sounds quite nice in theory - which it is...! but everyone wanted their overwhelm bonus resulting in everyone standing in the front - making frontal AOE attack sponge so many mp


    Cleared 45-60 no problem tho - plus Hydra got raped a new one

    Excuse the bump but it looked like the best place to put my question...
    We've just hit floor 61 and did our first ToAU boss (Cerb) last night. It went fine but we know we need to reshuffle our jobs a bit and wondered if anyone could give us their opinion.

    Right now we go with...

    BLU/NIN
    WHM/SCH
    BRD/WHM
    WAR/NIN
    WAR/NIN
    BLM/WHM

    We're considering ditching the BLM. It was nice when initially hit slimes/custards etc but now it feels too slow. Would leave us without stun and sleepga though.

    Jobs available

    [Me] WHM/, SCH/, BLM/, BRD, SMN
    #2 WHM/, BLU, SMN, BLM
    #3 NIN, WAR, RNG, BRD
    #4 NIN, BLU, DRK (semi retired)
    #5 SAM, BLM, RDM
    #6 WAR, PLD, RNG

    Both of us with WHM have /SCH.

    Just wondered what you'd do? The other person with WHM is levelling THF fairly fast, as soon as he can he'll prolly bring that to Nyzul but it's 66 right now.

    or change the DRK and PLD to NIN and WAR respectively/

    PLD is more or less pointless in Nyzul. The one thing you ever need a 'tank' for is the boss, and Fanatics is all you really should ever need anyways.

    WAR/NINs are quite versatile in Nyzul.

    Consider changing WHM/SCH to SCH/RDM and making the BLM come as WAR.

    Blegh, I can understand why some people think this, but -- assuming the PLD in question knows the arse end from the elbow end of a decent DD build -- I'd have to disagree with 'pointless'.

    I've started taking poison pots - speeds up some floors when mobs are spamming sleepga.

    By the way, is anyone else seeing odd droprates on the weapons since update? We've had at least 6 Werebusters in the last 10 days in our static (9 tags total).

    I know it's meant to be random, but if this trend continues it's going to break the statistics. Really very weird.

    I agree! I've been on several runs, and have gotten tons of weapons to drop, but the variety is very VERY unusual. Here's the rough breakdown:

    2x BLU
    5x PLD
    1x BRD
    1x SCH
    2x MNK
    4x DRK
    1x RNG

    The odd thing was, the drops pretty much all fell in the same 4 runs.

    Not a hint of any of the other ones, but my friends are going on runs and seeing like.... 4 WAR and 5 PUP in a single run. It seems very much at odds with "random."

    At least I got my Spelunker's Hat!
