    Why are you complaining about lack of drops... you got an amulet. Our Elemental Charm and Fruit Punches would like to have a word with you. ; ;

Anyone have any method of doing the "Kill All Enemies" floors fast? My group is BRD/WHM SAM/NIN NIN/WAR WAR/NIN DRG/BLU RDM/WHM, and usually we just split into 2 groups of 3 for a divide and conquer style. The reason I ask is we've had sets where we've got to clear all enemies on multiple floors, which is a huge time hindrance if you get NMs along with the regulars. I'm just curious how other people handle floors like this, because it usually presses us for time and might lead to a timeout. The worst set of floors (we've encountered) we actually had last night.

91-Kill All Enemies (4 Mousse, 2 Thousand Eyes, Taisaijin, Tom Tit Tat)
92-Kill Specified Enemies (4 Ebony Pudding)
93-Kill All Enemies (4 Mousse, 2 Magic Flagons, Simurgh, Tom Tit Tat, Maghaden Uaine)
94-Kill Specified Enemies (4 Heraldic Imps)
    95-Enemy Leader (Cinnamon Custard)

We ended up winning with around 1min20sec left, but I'm looking for ways to speed up the Kill All Enemies floor, any suggestions? The 2 Groups we split into are DRG,WAR,BRD and NIN,SAM,RDM if thats of any help.

My group used to split up, as you do, but after awhile we found that just sticking together and killing as the BRD pulls more mobs works better for us. Our group is BRD/WHM, SAM(/DNC usually, sometimes /WAR) MNK/DNC, SMN/WHM, THF/NIN, and NIN/WAR (comes SAM/WAR for boss floors). Maybe it just works out better for us, but splitting up usually slowed us down. Different setups call for different strats, etc. We used to split into MNK/THF/SMN and SAM/NIN/BRD.

    I'm a fan of a good puller + zerging in a group.

Kill multiple mobs if they're trash as you clear through things, but you can all come together to beat down annoying NM's/Puddings and shit if they pop up.

Nyzul driving me nuts right now. Floor 90 progress saved but we were hoping to finish my key last night so we could forget about high level climbing and raise up the lower disks.

    It so wasn't to be.

Especially as one guy only remembered to pick up his tag late the night before so we would be delayed on our 4th run and one just plain forgot. I wouldn't mind if it were occasional but it seems every other week right now.

First run, I dc the min we zone up. Come back, party ok but we lost valuable time as it took me a few mins to get back in and we end up with some nasty kill all floors. Exited a floor or so early to get points. Unfortunate and irritating, especially as we could only do 3 runs...

Second run, great. Nicer floors, no Cassie - cut it close but got the progress saved. We seemed to have a lot of large kill alls...

Third run - frogs. Going ok, I dc'd again (since we started way back this has never happened to me in Nyzul)... come back to 4/5 dead to frogs. One person killed 2 party members whilst charmed, not really sure why the BRD didn't sleep but it involved 2 frogs so I'm sympathetic.

Used flies - and gave up.

Usually our group is pretty settled and organised but last night Altana didn't want me to get my runic key.

Oh and we saw zero weapons and I really didn't need the kyahan that Simurgh dropped thanks...

One question. Does anyone have any tips on how to combat Floor 100 Cerb's SS spam? I win alot of the times but sometimes we just clock out because too much SS.

Have one of your melees hold TP, and if you have mages in your group, have them prepared to nuke immediately. Usually a WS and a few nukes combined with the groups DoT is enough to quickly take off the Magma SS move. If Cerberus chooses to do it again as soon as the original one is off, that really sucks though.

I've beaten a 100 Cerb with WSs disabled. It took almost 10 minutes, but it's definately possible if you have enough time. The Stoneskin spam was legendary in that run too. ._.

    question about the dc trick:
Do you have to dc and drop from server before timeout, or can you exit program at 5 seconds left (would be dcing while time ends)?

I don't think it matter.. You just have to stay in the zone for as long as you can after the time allowed end (until everyone but you is out). As long you have a red ball above your head, it should works.

Cerb suck dick (and we get it 80% of the time). I usually save my fanatic for the last 30% and go all out at this point. If your melee bought tp regen drink, they should have no problem finishing him even if it's spamming stoneskin.

Key to beating Cerb is to get Fanatics Drink, Samurai's and TP Wing.

    Concerning the d/c trick:

I tried this a week ago because we had a rough Hydra on floor 60 that was spamming Physical Shield and regening. @ the 10 seconds left mark, we had a couple people dead and I decided I'd force d/c (it was at like 1-2%). I came back to see a Mage's Staff and Askar Hands in my inventory.

My static's doing floor 60 just for my Goliard Cuffs at this point and after 14+ runs they haven't dropped since that Cerb SS I posted. I personally want them for the sake of completeness, as I'm 4/5.

SAMs own for Cerb. We have had 1 Cerb over these last few floor 60s we've done and the stoneskin barely lasted. That AoE paralyze is still annoying though.

We had another three runs, got to the bosses twice and one of our guys went 5/5 on Denali. Awesome.

What wasn't so awesome was the 'all lamps' floor. No gear aggro to worry about, good communication - we all thought it would be ok. Ended up exiting on 78 with 3 mins to go. Why? HUGE map and there being 3 triple gears hanging out at the most distant lamp. Along with a couple of puks. No sign of gears anywhere else...

5 lamps, huge zone, 3 triple gears at one lamp with rest of party spread out. We did it but there was death. First time something so silly has stopped us in a while.

Good method to deal with this is to have less solo/sleepaga friendly members take the closest lamps and the rest search for mo9re distant ones.

Yeah we thought that too. Usually we do a quick appraisal of the floor and work out who should go where as we run around madly. I.e WHM stays at x cos they can keep up buffs, no magic aggro and can repose y etc. But we only found gears in this one remote corner... never been on a floor that large before tbh!

I hate getting the huge floors, they take so much time running around even if otherwise the level is easy.

I know this is probably a bunch of bullshit but:

Lately, I've been having a lot of pickup people in my nyzul runs as I don't have a full pt's worth of a static atm. Every single one of them ironically says don't kill rampart on boss floors and they say it's a lower drop rate if it's not up, and we ALWAYS kill it except if we're low on time for TP, and we have a bunch of 4/5 sets. On that note, I'm 0/24 on my drop on floor 60 myself. I can't help but notice a trend of these pickup people but I'm quite sure it's nothing but BS.

Honestly shit is random ramparts don't control drops I've always killed them for TP for boss and I've managed to get enough drops to say that it doesn't mean shit if rampart is killed.

(from my own personal experience anyways)

I think we've tried both killing and not killing and honestly it seems to make no difference.
