My theory :

Aura statues drop just because they share the room with Ulli, Nexus statues won't because it's an exp spot that still works np, enkidu do since nobody kills them for any reason really.

Farmed there once for ages with no drop, but that doesn't really prove or disprove anything...

Maybe if you kill pots there long enough the game will take pity on you?
