on the note of actually monopolizing him... on Siren at least hes pretty much monopolized by sellers. sometimes they either fall asleep while camping him or just dont pull and watch us pull. but theres always a seller behind him 24/7... not sure if its like that on other servers or not.

Did anyone have a choice? With ulli claimed by RMT for many people each week, they're going to end up having a lot of unmatched despot gems.

I imagine a typical sky farming run for any LS would involve camping despot and ulli, only ulli gets taken so they're left with only despot and no autumnstone to go with it. Over the past couple years, that all builds up.

I'd figure most LS's go "well no point farming despot since were sitting on 4 (figurative number) of his stones and no autumnstones to go with it, so not gonna waste time farming it" ?

My previous LS was pretty much the same, but given a choice between going home completely shut out or taking 20 minutes to pop and kill Despot, well, we'd usually do the latter just to have *something* to show for our time in sky.

Gilsellers have tried to monopolize the various other sky NMs on Sylph but for the most part they fail. They were caming Despot against us today but it was hardly a competition. Then later on they proceeded to wipe to Olla Grande right before our eyes, so I guess I should say thanks for the free winterstone that we were happy to take off their hands

The biggest problem imo with monopolizing the other NMs is that they respawn too quickly for it to be very effective.

We went 5/8 on haidate today, out of the other three we went 2/3 shura legs and 1/3 trash.

Yeah, I'm not sure how many gems my LS has but it was at least 10+. We usually camped Despot while waiting for everyone to come up in sky since Despot is pretty easy.

We did Byakko about 6 times yesterday, funny part was that a gilseller army wanted to do Byakko but we kept shutting them out popping within a few seconds when the ??? went up. They tried to pop it once or twice but just gave up after that and went afk till we were done.
While the LS warped out of there I stayed around to hope they would wipe. Unfortunately those GS pretty much stunlocked Byakko (they had about 10-15 blms out there) and they didn't wipe .

They had a PLD pulling groups of 5-6 of the placeholders at once and having some BLMs AoE them. However, apparently their tiny BLMs did not know the value of putting up buffs, so they would proceed to Sleepga them before the next volley. They never did keep them all claimed while I was up there. Tossed a Diaga on the unclaimed ones and watched the happy fun time begin.

went 5/5 on Haidate last night, with all of them dying to a Spirits Within with Armlets and off hand lolknife.

I was extremely impressed @ that many Haidates ^_^

As far as I know the update has nothing to do with Byakko pants drop rate or anything else to do with Byakko's drops. People are banned from posting Ridill drops, but going 4/5 on Haidate last night is an amazing discovery all of a sudden?

Post something we didn't already know about getting diorites or other pop items and stop with this nonsense.
