this game is so cool
this game is so cool
SE's answer to people who wanted Triple Triad/Tetra Master/Sphere Break/whatever-like things, perhaps? And then we're scheduled to get Chocobo Racing at the end of this month, so it might become Mini-game March. >_>
I can only hope they replace some of the redundant tables with new games.
No tables in Whitegate/Alzabi?
No. Nearest is Nashamu.Originally Posted by Bagel

They should totally put one in the tea house though.
I like the idea of doing it to kill time while you're waiting for stuff. My LS was gathering for limbus in jeuno and I decided to try it out. A few from another group doing limbus joined me and pretty soon we had passerbys hopping in too. Was just kind of a cool thing.
this is a pretty sweet game it seems. itd be funny if SE rigged the game so that the person with more gil always loses >.>
It'd be nice if it was more like poker, if you get dealt a bad hand/roll, you cut your losses as small as possible, instead of all or nothing.
I think the two biggest flaws in the game are too many draws and not enough skill/tactic play(even for a game of chance).
If I was SE, I would add this simple fix: In case of a draw, unless of Busts, use the primary(first) roll. Reasons/Results:
1) What is the point of seeing your opponent's primary rolls atm? Since a player can make unlimited amount of rolls without you knowing or seeing, the number is basically pointless. This gives it some use.
2) This would move things along, since everyone is always either going to have 9, 10, 11, or Bust. It gets really annoying when out of 20 games, 10 more or less are draws.
3) Finally, it adds some strategy, if just a bit. Whoever gets primary roll of 6 should be a little less eager to grab that 11, while someone who got a 1 should be a little more eager.
(Hire me SE, ect)
In the future, since there is sort of an abundance of tables, I hope they add more (different, complex if possible) games to replace the redundant tables... maybe making games unique to nations. Hell they could even make some articles about it, with pretty pictures of dice, cards, and coins.
