Not sure, but wait at least ONE day before moaning about it though.

Don't give me that look either... <.<;
*hides from prying eyes and secretly lusts for new gear*
i really do wonder where they drop too lol..
i was thinking possibly nyzul isle?
i wouldn't rule out the possibility that they ninja those sets into khim/hydra/cerb tho... but otherwise wish people knew
Nah, I'm not moaningVery early days but sometimes you post something and have missed the thread which tells you the answers to all the questions you've just asked and makes you look a complete muppet...
Or something...
Just interested in hints and clues![]()
the smartest assumption so far would be Nyzul, I mean... where else, they didnt add any new HNM did they?
The ninja-them-onto-Khim/Cerb (as made from craftables maybe?) actually has one piece of evidence going for it - in the interview thread from Belcus (sp?), there are those two pictures of people engaged with Khim & Cerb seemingly wearing the new gear.
In the one pic vs. Cerb, the elvaan guy is holding an Algol and wearing the new armor. If Algol comes from the mob he's fighting... could his armor too? >.>
Guess this could be confirmed or debunked pretty quickly as these two get taken down/crafters check for new recipes with existing craftables?
Maybe their answer to how some of us thought Ares/Usukane/Marduk (or was it Morrigan's?) armor were going to drop from or be crafted from drops from Hydra/Cerb/Khim when we first saw them?
EDIT: Just looked at the screenshots again. Taj is right.
They were wearing Salvage gear, not the new gear, in said pictures.Originally Posted by Kawfee
I hope you can buy it with AP with the new and highest rank, but I guess that isn't the case because no one has reported that yet. Three sets match the fact there was three sets last time.
My update didn't go through last night (was still running at midnight and I just went to bed). But if you're looking for new armor there's not too many places it could logically be.
Here's my list of "where I'd look":
1. Old assault areas, maybe as a 40k item or just another 20k item with one piece from each area. Or an appraisal from top ranked ??? items, one from each area.
2. New assault areas, but the new area doesn't give assault points so it'd have to be a drop or appraisal for ??? items.
3. NMs, Cerb/Hydra/Khimeira or the Aht Urgan beastkings, or new NMs.
4. lolSalvage, unlikely given they already have sets.
5. Quests, unlikely because it's multiple pieces.
6. Missions, Glory Crown > Whichever head?
7. Armor Crafter, same for AF quests for BLU/COR/PUP.
8. Not accessable yet.
I think that covers them all. I'm leaning towards either ??? items from top ranked assaults, one of each of the parts in the 5 areas (??? Head/Body/Hands/Legs/Feet) which appraises into one of the three sets. Or from the armor crafter, which may need special items from NMs/mobs of all types plus a hefty coin fee.
No AP item has required you to be any rank yet. You could have full Yigit as a PSC (if you weren't smart enough to go do the rank up quest)Originally Posted by BRP
Safe bet is higher floors of Nyzul Isle.
Doesn't come from either CS Rank AP or IS.Originally Posted by BRP
Willing to bet it drops in Nyzul so that it has its own set of unique drops in addition to some of the old ones we've seen.
I would bet the same... but it would be a change from the other "sets" that they've introduced thus far.Originally Posted by Jeryhn
Prior to this update, in essence you were able to "pick" which set pieces you wanted ... either by spending AP or seeking out specific 15, 25, 35 gears.
If these new set pieces just drop, then there's really no way to pick and choose... you just get what you get.
It's obviously going to be harder to target specific pieces to a set, so I think that would be a downside, but we'll probably just have to wait and see where they show up.
Can you check NPC dialougue in the dats? Might be traded from Nyzul Isle tokens or something, probably not thou.
I want that WAR/SAM Head and Body so much
Also keep in mind that most of the pieces in those sets aren't really all that great. Some are nice, but on the whole, Salvage sets seem to have the most pieces within a set that are "good". So, given SE's recent innovation to match effort with value, I'd guess these sets are obtained more easily than Salvage.
- they added a set for mages, a set for melees and a set for uh...other melees (>.>), just like Yigit/Amir/Pahluwan
- all sets have a set bonus, just like Yigit/Amir/Pahluwan
- they added a new assault counter. Yigit/Amir/Pahluwan come from assault counters.
Seems dead obvious to me it comes from there. As for how...
Old assault: ~1000 point per run, 20 000 points per piece, so about 20 tags to get a piece.
My theory: clear 100 Nyzul floors and you get to choose 1 piece. The news post for Nyzul said "We estimate that approximately 5 floors will be completed during a single attempt." 100 floors / 5 floors per run = about 20 runs to get a piece, fits perfectly :o
I don't think this is the case. Only one person is able to save their progress as they climb those 100 floors, and making it so only the party leader could choose a piece is a little sadistic, even by SE standards.Originally Posted by stinkypoo
I'm equally curious as to where the new accessories with Salvage bonuses come from. My running theory is that they're appraised from the new Chief Sergeant Assaults because there is a set of five earrings/rings/neckpieces, which would match the new Assault.
Of course, everybody is spamming Nyzul Isle at the moment, so it's going to be a while before anybody gives those a shot. Even if somebody were to go in and get a ??? Ring/Necklace/Earring, that'd be a step in the right direction.
