Some do. Of course, those are the new shells, or the ones where people come and go like the wind. Any smart end game shell wouldn't be like:

"He does have a Thief's knife...well let's take him and we'll get better drops."

The following issues have been addressed:

- Thief's job ability, "Aura Steal" may sometimes cause a forced termination on both the ability user and nearby players.

- A spelling mistake, "gils" within the auction house related message.

Also, big kudos to SE for not taking the servers down once since the update. I must say I'm impressed - that was one of the biggest complaints about the post-patch week and it looks like they listened.

The Warrior's Mufflers were a mistake. I think it should be obvious, since their level change is listed in known issues. That aside, the new level requirement is only client side. You can still equip them if your Warrior is level 72, you just have to get a little crafty.

are you suggesting that this can be done for other gear too? o.O

Maybe I'm just crazy, but did anyone else notice the formating and spacing errors done with /check and /seacom

For example how it reads when you check yourself/another player:
Lv.75 Red Mage / Lv.37 Black Mage now as opposed to
Lv75 Red Mage / Lv37 Black Mage

Also in seacom there is an extra space between the level and job

I don't think it's errors though, I think it's on purpose since Lv is an abbrv.

I have to wonder if some English teacher who plays FFXI submitted a bug report about that. Why would they go out of their way to "fix" something that honestly looked better than it does now?

It's funny how an update for one thing inadvertantly causes "gil" to become "gils", "Lv" to become "Lv.", and a level 75 equipment to become 72. Poor level 72 WARs who logged off prior to the patch with Warrior's Mufflers on and logged in bare-handed. I feel for them.

I could understand someone mistakenly editing the AH strings and changing "gil" to "gils" when they weren't supposed to, but it sounds like that's not what happened but instead something they did in a completely unrelated area glitched and made "gil" into "gils" through some program error. At least, that's how SE made it sound.

As far as I understood the Warrior's Mufflers thing was an error on the .dat file. Meaning that the gloves displayed level 75, but in fact the server side information was still 72, meaning you could still equip them at 72. So SE only messed up a little.

The level thing with the Lv(.)75/Lv(.)37 is still annoying me to all hell, I'm one of those people that check everything and everyone 150+ times more than needed at all times. This slight change is driving me bonkers over something so stupid.
