Which CoP reward did you choose?

I dunno, in response to the DM earring thread I guess. Personally I picked Tamas, and get a lot of use out of it, but I wish I'd taken Sattva, since I really don't need the MP off Tamas.

Rajas. I didn't/don't need the stats on tamas for what I use my WHM and SMN for and my PLD and NIN aren't even level 50.

picked Tamas for 3 reasons:

1.) I merited +enmity on ninja and I have 3 mage jobs.
2.) Inventory space of carrying around 2int/2mnd/2MP rings all the time
3.) At the time, I figured Rajas was only good at 75 as a TP piece (which even now it's debatable depending on job), wheras low levels you're going to want accuracy more than anything.

Still wished I got Rajas though...

Picked Rajas and regretted it up untill I got Shadow Ring.

I would probably still switch it to Sattva given the chance though.

Sattva...have second thoughts about Rajas from time to time considering there are so many god damn rings PLD can wear, but its really nice to have for NIN tanking.

I found the inventory spaces tamas saved me to be more beneficial than the stats on the rajas.

I wanted Rajas for some melee jobs I'm leveling... but I didn't like the idea of having to get another Snow and Aqua ring for BLM and RDM. Tamas it was :D

Tamas Ring. Pretty much the same reason I listed in the other thread, helps the jobs I like to level (mage jobs 4tw).

tamas after a night or two of debating it. sometimes i sort of wish i had rajas, sometimes i'm pumped i don't. definitely no regret, just wish i could have both sometimes
