I just read this article, and I have to say, this game intrigues me to the degree now that I would get a 360 just to play this game. I really had a lot of fun playing the first Fable, so no matter what any review said I would buy this to play and see it for myself, provided that I already owned an XBOX360.

But this article is making me want to buy a 360 now. Shit, I would make a fucking woman to just to get myself pregnant... which is supposedly a video game first for the main character.

it was good when it came out, the evil/good thing was well done, story was ok

i suppose the hype about the 2nd is that there will be more possibilities and versatility and, hopefully, a longer story since it's for the 360

I got the first one on release day and I loved every second I spent in the game, but unfortunately the above poster was right, it can be short.

It all comes down to what you want to get out of the game. You can whip through it doing as little as possible in like, I don't know, less than 15 hours your first run through it, again, if you really wanted to.

On the other hand, you could have fun with the game, and spend 50 hours on it. My first run through lasted about 23 hours and I did several additional things. But I went through it again, my first time I played the good guy, this time I played the villian. And it was mighty fun and I spent about, well, something shy of 50 hours.

But there is definite replayability. And how much does it cost now, 20 bucks? I'd pay the 20 bucks just for the fun behind playing the bad guy and killing all the towns folk and guards lol, marrying some woman and then killing her, LOL. There is much fun to be had here, and if it's only like 20 bucks now, it's a well spent 20 bucks.

I don't know what content was "promised" in the first, I bought it based on the TV ads i saw for it which peaked my interest, then I checked out several different reviews. It got no bad reviews, so I bought it, and I loved it.

It's not a hard game by any means, but I never heard it promise to be?

It's one of those open-ended games where doing the bare minimum gets you through quicky, but there's a lot of side content if you are interested. It really isn't a bad game, just not fantastic.

Don't check it out if a game that can be beaten with the worst gear and the most minimal time investment being at around 15 hours or so won't appeal to you no matter how good the content is.

The content is good. The game is fun. 20 dollars will get you 2 movie tickets, for up to 6 hours of entertainment, good or bad. 20 dollars could get you Fable, and at least 15 hours of entertainment lol :\ It's all in how you look at it.

Yar, i have Fable. Never had a Xbox1, and just wanted something cheap to mess with on the 360 before Oblivion had come out. It was... ok. I admit I haven't played much of it ... but hell it was like 7.99 or something silly.

I sold my 360 version of Oblivion, buying it for the PS3 instead (never downloaded any of the extras either, so it's not like i'm losing money.)

Having the knights expansion on the DVD sounds a lot easier.

i actually just got oblivion for pc yesterday, including the knights of 9 expansion pack. it appeared to be pretty good, any impressions?
