Big Bomb anyone?

The ones that cast magic also use the different bomb type moves (such as the aoe burn) whereas the other ones just stick to berserk/self-destruct.

Went 1/4 on the bomblet last night. Definitely not 100% unfortunately, but the smoky flask doesn't seem to be *too* rare.

I'm pretty sure the only 2 in the zone that "act like Big Bomb"(cast magic, use the tp moves he uses, don't blow up, get big when you WS unlike the others) are those 2 on the bridge. I'm not sure if those are the only two that drop though, seeing as Tonberry Trailers in Den of Rancor drop the item to pop Sozu Rogberry.

Not quite. There is one in the middle of the room with Mythril Mouth Monamaq that does the same. Which is weird, because from the bridge if you take the hallway to go to his room there's 2 more in that hallway that don't act that way. But then in the next open room with the Moblin NM, there is a Lantern in the middle of the room that does act that way.

How many people does it take to use the operating lever at G-8 on 2nd map? 2?

it takes 6 to open that one.

theres also 2 bombs that grow/cast/use special tp moves located at I-9 of the 2nd map.

As you go up the hill where big bomb pops, go past some trolls and hug right, you'll find those 2.

3 day old bump and kind of a long shot, but anyone got a smoky flask off any other bombs? Competing vs. RMT vokes for those 2 on the ramp sucks

Tried some other bombs in Mount Zhaylom for about 45 minutes the other day with no luck, going to try again when I get the opportunity. I'm almost certain there has to be some other places it can drop.

Possibly the the bombs in Mt.Zhaylum can drop it much like you can pick the Lantern from Sozu from the Pursuers inside the temple or the Trailers in Den of Rancor?

I spent 5 hrs soloing the 2 old PHs and no drop of a flask - no RMT there - they musta gotten frustrated!

I find easier to just train the north path with true sight mobs with sneak/invible on than get people for the switch. If you are patient (and slightly lucky), you can get to big bomb without aggroing anything

first time I died like 3 tiems looking for the way - second time I just train with NIN at night and mijin at the end for 0 exp loss

are other servers like bahamut and have 20+ gs at the ramp where the 2 bombs pop and another 10+ at the mythril mouth nm pop spot?
