yup.

Unless Speed Belt is found in a not-too-hard KS30, I highly doubt this. Speed Belt would need to be pretty common, like under 2mil, for many people to really care about making sonics and sonic+1's for e-peen. If it's in a KS99 or one of the harder and hardly attempted KS30's I see the price staying fairly high as not everyone will be able to win the fight, or it could be a stupidly low drop rate from one of them...

if you can get a free V. Belt, then why keep a speed belt unless to synth into a higher piece of armor.

why risk breaking when the original is better and will probably sell faster in the first place?
