I happen to be one of those lolWHMelee enthusiasts, right after sky farm today gonna pick myself up one of these and try to parse for a few hours both with Sea Robber (or Brass Jadagna +1 if I can get my hands on it)/Perdu, and Perdu/Prudence, and see what I get out of it. Sounds very promising for WHM solo.
From FF5:
Holy Lance (Radiant Lance?) - Fortified with Holy, doubles Jump damage
Sasuke Katana - High Evasion Rate
Assassin's Dagger - Instantly KOs target (my bad)
Magnus Rod (Mage's Staff?) - Increases elemental magic damage
Brave Blade - Increases in attack power the less times you run away from battles
Dancing Dagger - let the carrier use a drain, aspir, charm, or attack 4 times
From FF6
Swordbreaker - Randomly evades an enemy's attack
Magus Rod - Increases elemental magic damage
More as I find any.
FFV also has Magus Rod
FFIII has Wightslayer
FF1 has Werebane and Vorpal Sword
All this similarity has got me intrigued, guess we gotta wait till someone discovers them, or they are actually implemented for testing though ; ;

I got Sickle as a lol item for BLM until I found out they were actually good so I got Sword for BLU aswell, now mainhanding it. Finally some good rank items!

I got one of the pairs of the new enspell enchantment gloves and gave it a test drive on NIN at the mamool ja exp camp.
5:00 cool down on reusing, duration 3:00 (can be de-equiped and effect remains active)
damage from the enthunder (I used the thunder mitts) was 10 damage (unresisted)
the catch was the resist rate was absolutely horrible. 9 times out of 10 swings (or more) I got 1/8 resist (1 damage)
rarely I'd get the 2 damage (1/4 resist), 5 damage (1/2 resist) and 10 damage (no resist)
Alot of enchantment equip was good in the past, so I had some hope for these, unfortunatly these didn't live up to my hopes.![]()

Joking aside, have you tried those gloves against a mob that's weak to thunder? I'd imagine the resist rate should be lower, maybe to the point where it would be worth using them since +10 damage per swing is something like +100 attack effectively.
