Anyone else notice random NPCs are now missing from the game? Both the GP and the advanced support npcs from the alchemy guild in Bastok Mines are nowhere to be found...

If it makes you feel any better, this morning there was a system message saying Bastok Mines, Windurst Woods, and Southern San d'Oria were going to have emergency maintenance. Perhaps that's why?

There was maintenance done in 1 zone in each nation earlier this morning; site says something about the Chocobo game. If you were online in the zone when the zone was shut down, maybe something got fudged up?

EDIT: On an aside, anyone else sort of stunned by the novelty of single zone maintenances for all these little fixes? And like, the quick fix they suggested for the Aura Steal issue? Such a change from the emergency maintenance every day for four days after a version update...

I think they're just getting lazy. I can't believe they've left an exploit that can crash an entire room full of people in for this long. Oh wait.

I logged out in South Sandy last night. This morning I tried to log in (not knowing the zone was down) and got a "Server unable to connect to area" message. I never got on to be DCed.

So it sounds like not?

after my thickets pt broke, we all tele- holla'd so I could change to blm and D2 everyone. After zoning into LTP, insta-R0. my fishing mule also gets R0 instantly after logging into the ship-terminal area of selbina.
Guess my options are to run bit by bit to the zone in LTP [orz] *edit|: ran to jugner dcing every 20 sec, zoned in still DC ; ;
but my fisher is doomed, the NPC to let you out into the main part of city wont load ; ;

Is this DDOS from some pissed off RMT?
or just SE usual "Dee-Dee-Dee" heads...

._. zoned into Elshimo uplands and DC'd, now i can only get to "Aquiring Player Data" logged onto a different account who is Whitegate and can't get passed "Aquiring player Data" ...

My friend keeps d/c'ing in Mount, and everytime she tries to log back in, immediatly d/c after 5sec...
