I was skipping thru channels, and landed upon a channel that was doing there entertainment news and they said they are making the Geico "Caveman" commercial characters into a sitcom
[Same premise, they are cavemen that live in the present]

(It sounds great, but I think it might be overkill if they milk it stupidly, if done right would be a cool show to watch)

my current shitty little LG phone (no camera ><) goes 3 days between charges. Granted, I'm not a huge talker (maybe 4-5 5-10 minute convos a day + the random 30s calls), but still, that's ridiculous battery life for a phone. So why would I pay $500 + a new 2 year contract with a different company when right now I've got a free phone that has the omega battery in it?

As a rule, I am anti multitasking devices, because they usually suck at one of the tasks, plus I usually already have single devices that kick ass. I've got a DS for games, an Ipod for music, a laptop for internet/email/typing/movies...why would I need an iphone? Yeah, it would cut down on the junk I'd have to carry around, but the only time I need all of that stuff is a long trip so it's really not an issue.

Basically, iphone fails.

Which LG Phone?

Only the G4011, KG800, VX9800, and CU500 model LG phones get more battery life than an iphone.. Most of those are pretty much phone only deals.. The VX9800 is the only one with a feature set you could even start to compare to a modern phone (though much less than an iphone) and it gets a whopping 5.5 hours of battery life. 30 more min than an iPhone.

AX 4270...shitty phone, no features...but I haven't charged it since Thursday, it's now sunday, and it's at 3 bars. It does its job-send and receive phone calls and text msgs. The only thing I wish it had was a camera. According to my call log, I've been on it approx. 1 hour and 50 minutes Fri-today, so from 5PM thursday (I only have a car charger) through 10:30 this morning, it's had 1 hour and 50 minutes of talk time and 64 hours of standby. It has not been turned off. Compared to previous phones I've had, that's insane. Compare that to something that is going to be used for music as well as calling, and again, my earlier point stands: why combine stuff that doesn't need to be combined.

If you wanna argue that you shouldn't combine stuff that shouldn't be combined thats fine.. it just annoys me how ignorant people are when it comes to battery life.

The LG 4270 gets 2.8 hours of talk time..
