Server Issues?

Just pointing something out for shits and giggles...I get POL-1363 after the "receiving mail" message. I know I'm connected for a fact because I can see names pop up when people on my friends list get off and on.

This is stupid frusterating.

My current dead zones are the metalworks (no outposting), the castle in sanD (no getting out except through the dungeon) and Attowah Chasm (no ENM -.-)

I was really looking forward to logging on, doing some meriting, and duoing the 75 ENM areas.

3113 for me, entire house's internet is slow, and all 4 machines with FFXI get the same error.

Why they don't hire people to work on the weekends for customer support (when their online playerbase increases the most over weekdays) is beyond me. You hear this SE; make some CSRs work on the fucking weekends, that's when people play!

<-- One of them...I'll be hammering online chat, this is bullshit; it'll take 2 hours to get on the phone with someone, I had a GM today who was kinda nice starting out then started saying it's a problem with the major ISPs, not their side. Then he just made one of those stereotypical final lines and disappeared...wasn't even close to finishing yet. I bet they're already tired of these calls.

Went to camp myself the new O Kote for my MNK today, Castle O is a deadzone (as are N San, Bastok Markets, probably other areas) Tried the ipconfig /release and whatnot, no dice Can't physically connect my computer to router/modem and whatnot based on how things are set up here at home

I don't dare enter any zone where I could potentially aggro anything or require a NPC to get out, I don't want to risk getting killed trying to navigate my way though/get trapped altogether

This is really pissing me off, SE had damn well figure out what's wrong and fix it, I hardly believe it isn't their fault, a bunch of different ISPs in a couple different continents all fucking up at once is highly unlikely. It hasn't been totally annoying, as I've been at work for most of the time this has been happening, but I'm on days off now, and don't want to be cock-blocked out of doing what I want because of some nonsense they refuse to admit they are more than likely responsible for
