I don't think we will see any major advancement in human-cyborg stuff thats made available to us. Cuz we all know the military has a program of stuff like that running, and they got that shit on lock down.

But if the option ever came up weather to live my life in the real world or have a better life if a gave up my body and was created in to a matrix world, I would pass. I dont know why but it's just a deep down feeling.

sure, it has a set list of protocols/laws/rules/commands, but being annoying like that will cause a raise in hostility and blood pressure (in the example listed) so ultimately that thing is gonna fry itself by trying to live out the commands to the T

so........

it follows which laws it wants and how it wants

aka bending the rules

in sum, i hope to anything we have left that's sacred that we don't make robots or half-robots (cyborgs etc) cuz we already have enough people prancing around pretending to align themselves with some self-described notion of perfection/idealism (see asimov's divine 3 laws, see u.s. constitution, see the friggin bible)
