Horrible horrible call.
Horrible horrible call.
Whoop! Go Ags! Thanks NCAA for Louisville's homecourt...now it's time for ours. <3
Edgar, as a UNC fan (and undergrad alum 05 and incoming MBA student), I totally agree. When conferences can put together decades of excellence, have the two most popular college basketball teams, and routinely be ranked the #1 conference in RPI, come talk.Originally Posted by edgarfigaro

It's the curse of being a UNC/Dook fan - we're the two most popular college basketball teams in the world. My NCSU girlfriend saw Carolina gear all over Paris when she went to France. I'm tired of UNC/Dook fans saying "LOL U DIDNT GO TO UNC/DOOK U RENT A REAL FAN". Cheer for whoever you want.
And if y'all don't get Patterson (which you probably won't) you might not improve as dramatically as you hope next year (you'll definitely be better tho). And why didn't Coach K play Pocious this year????
Indiana/UCLA
Is this football or basketball?
no shit what a boring game
come on heels
yeah the UNC/ Michigan ST game is really good so far. Go heels go.
But I guess I cant be a UNC fan seeing as I didnt go to the college ... even though I live 2 hours from the campus and have been there several times.
*edit* buh-bye Michigan State
fuck yea Carolina, 81-67
Hansbrough was a beast, 33 points while the rest of his team minus Lawson was sucking dick. At least Terry had an excuse (the flu) and he lit it up late.
Wtf Tyche, Texas A&M - Corpus Christi into the round of 8?![]()
I assume your bracket was fucked up when you thought you were taking the one time #6 team in the nation.
All and all, not a bad weekend so far.
I was going through the bracket very quickly, and didn't pick up on the "CC". Oh well, im still not doing all that bad despite fucking up my bracket.Originally Posted by skurlover

Wow.
They haven't been the same team since they lost Brian Butch. I lost a Sweet 16 team in Wisconsin, but I bet many people lost much more.Originally Posted by Mizango

UNLV beating Wisconsin is no surprise, the Badgers have been playing like crap for a while now.
As for the others, losing to Florida, UCLA, North Carolina in close games is not an embarrassment at all, but it will show the ppl who started woofing about the Big Ten after they had a good first couple days.
Same =/Originally Posted by Byrd

It's kinda funny how we were all caught up on the whole Big East/Big 10/ACC thing, and only one of the 3 conferences (Big East) has more than one team in the Sweet 16.
Maybe they all just blow.
That's cause the Big East sucks, the Big 10 sucks, and the ACC choked (BC lost by 7, Maryland by 3, Virginia by 3, GT by 2, Dook by 2)
Top to bottom the ACC is the best conference this year but in terms of solid teams at the top, there's no definitive best conference. The PAC-10 boasts the largest claim.
I dunno, besides Kentucky losing, the SEC didn't do half bad.
Yea SEC did well too, though matchups were favorable. Tennessee getting UVA (horribly overrated) was nice, and Vandy getting Wash St (horribly overrated) worked out well. Florida also has a pretty easy path to the title game.
PAC-10 has Oregon (3) UCLA (2) USC (5). Oregon beat a good Winthrop team, UCLA is a 2 (and an appropriate 2), USC beat God (Durant). Not too bad.
Don't get me wrong, I think the PAC-10 is overally miserably overrated and their fans need to shut up, but they've done well this year. Very well.
Texas A&M misses a layup and then gives Memphis three offensive rebounds to score with the clock winding down. Way to go, Aggies.
