not being a Tarutaru and not levelling BLM when 'everyone' else did
not being a Tarutaru and not levelling BLM when 'everyone' else did
No regrets. Every decision I make is always the best one.
tbh...I don't think I really have any regrets. Everything I've done has served a purpose so far, and I've picked the right rings and earrings.
Selling my astrals right before they took them out of the Yag castle. I was sure they would drop in price. They nearly quadrupled.
My biggest regret is not cashing in before the major deflation. Durring Christmas 2 yrs ago NQ weskits were selling for 18M each, every item was incredibly over inflated. I wish I would have sold all my gear then worth 100+ Mil, played a few months with gimp ass gear. Then bought back all my gear for a 1/4 of the price. Would have been nice to have 75 mil+ on hand!
- levelling BLM as my first (and for a long time, only) job, making it nearly impossible for me to do anything fun on another job.
- starting to level goldsmithing during A Very IGE Christmas, and leaving off at 52. At least I can sign Republic Subligaria for my friends...?
- waiting until the last few months to finish levelling my RDM, because I hate soloing on BLM and have gimp merits because of it.
- Suppa, because it's fun to play around with and will be nice when I level BLU, but realistically I will probably never come to anything where it matters on a job other than BLM, or maybe RDM if I'm lucky.
- not taking more initiative in being a leader in my old LS, I don't know if I could have saved it if I had started acting right when our leadership started to fail, but I know I could have done more. Now I've been in an LS that has shown me why endgame is great, but it's broken and I have no interest in any endgame shells on Midgard.
not being taru. giving out my account info >.> only to have account hacked/banned. and what Ruffles said. shoulda cashed out before deflation. >.> oh well.
Buying all my high priced gear when the server inflation was at it's peak, and waiting to sell my jujitsu gi and koryukagemitsu a year later, at about a 3 mil gil loss. ;_;
not same thing. He didn't break and enter, you gave him the keysOriginally Posted by Xfaustx
I regret few things, but one really stands out.
I helped a new player (had been playing about 3 weeks, power player kind of guy) get all 3 G1 items (coal, paper, mold) in about a half hour. I guess we got lucky on the drops for the paper & mold. He quit a week later.
I guess I regret it because I realize things don't really mean much if you didn't have to work for them, and they're just handed to you.
So now I go out of my way to not help people and make them do everything on their own.
Just kidding about that last part.
technically i dint give "HIM" the keys... he knew the AIM password to one person i trusted with my account info >.> logged on him and pretended to be him. so yes and no, just handed it to a person i dint think it was. shitty either way ._.Originally Posted by Demosthenes11

2. Choosing taru for melee
3. Buying my haubergeon for 8m, the HQ is that much now
4. Leveling Rdm, I hate that fucking job
5. Lending SH+1 to a friend to never see it again
Most of old school Valefor knows mine. To this day, I still don't know if I did the right thing or not.
Eminence
-M sized hume instead of L... i thought L meant fat, and not taller =/
-not picking the beard
some other things i may think i regret.. but thats not the case,, cause all the decisions ive made alltogether have put me in my current position now.. and even though its nothing extraordinary.. im really happy with where i am
im sure thats the same for many other people
Sort of a damned if you do, damned if you don't thing.Originally Posted by Heian
I guess I regret not being more hardcore about my crafting, instead of just crafting in spurts when I need money.
That's probably mine. I've a fair bit money doing what I do, however, I took crafting really slow. I've made 20-30 mil crafting, but I'm only lvl 90 stillOriginally Posted by ono
