I'd like to add that maybe we could get traceroutes from everyone have problems to a playonline server ip (Taj? hi2u??) or if we don't have one, perhaps http://www.playonline.com.. I'm willing to bet IF it is at all 'our' problem (Which it isn't).. but.. regardless.. I bet those who are having problems are using the same backbone to get to POL vs those who aren't..
Also .. I know this may be getting out of the scope of what you wanted so I apolgoize if so, you can edit this post.. but.. Taj.. knowing what you know.. maybe you can share some light.. I don't see how it's a routign issue since all the servers should be together and a persons route to say jeuno shouldn't be any different then windy.. am I missing something?
This is traceroute from my friend on Diabolos to http://www.playonline.com who is having the issues (Editted to save space):

Not sure if that trace is going to help since I don't know where http://www.playonline.com is in comparision to the servers but.. I tried to give you guys as much to go on as possible.

With MAC address cloned from my PC, I had a 65.78.xx.xx IP address, and had dead zones in Buburimu Peninsula and South San d'Oria.
I released the IP address, turned off MAC cloning, rebooted the cable modem, and DHCP gave me a new IP address in 209.6.xx.xx, which fixed the South Sandy dead zone. I haven't found any other dead zones yet, but I haven't been many places since the switch.
I also noticed that the IP address I was connecting to at SE's side changed in this process. Before it was 202.67.56.137, after it was 202.67.56.125. (Used netstat to see where I was connected to)

same trace to .125, only the last hop is different.
Now I see that after restarting POL to download the update, I'm connected to .137 again, so that doesn't seem to be tied to my IP address.

Sorry for a bit off-topic, but just a little hint for people aren't sure about their hardware:
Start - All programs - Playonline - Playonline viewer - Playonline viewer config. System Information. Copy to clipboard and then just paste normally. Remove whatever information you wish (if you aren't sure what to include, just include stuff before registery. At bare mininum I would recomend to include operating system, network card, network driver, video card & video driver). It can't detect everything, but it's still better than nothing.

He got back on by resetting modem and router, I had to unplug router and directly go from modem to PC. After being on for about an hour since, i've gone back to using router and everything is working. Going to update my 360 version later and hope for the best.
Edit:: this didn't happen to anyone else in our group.
