Ohhh orlandu, ok because I know about the dupe and I wanted it for the same purpose but when I tried to do it for the GKTs it didnt work.

You mean Ninja? I'm pretty sure he has to have learned the Ninja ability Two Swords and be on his main job for it to work. You can look it up on GameFAQs I'm sure.Originally Posted by SathFenrir

I'm pretty sure Orlandu can equip all and any sword, can't he? I could be wrong... it just wouldn't be beneficial, of course, to have him using GKT because he can't use his Holy Sword with it.
Yea, you were right, it works with Orlandu :D
Beowulf is awesome in Deep Dungeon when you need time to move-find items around. Just have him cast Chicken twice on the last enemy and you have all time in the world.
Orlandu is cheat, but so is Ramza as Monk.
Rafa was decent in my group (her spells were high damaging... when they hit), but it's been a long time so I dont remember her setup. I never got around to learning how to enhance Malak :/
I miss FFT a lot -.- Too bad I cant find anybody selling an original copy around here anymore. And I exploded my unlocked PS1 3 months ago, so I cant play fake copies anymore![]()
His sword skill, is it based on PHYS ATT or MAG ATT?[3.11] sword skills
damage = PA * (WP + K)MagicI think I'm gonna mess around with cloud a little bit this time
Is his limit skill PHYS or MAG? Question
Cherry Blossom is MA * 60 (if it ever finishes charging <___<)
If I remember correctly it's Phys, but don't quote me on that. If you want some craziness to play around with there's a guide out there something for the crazy math behind Rafa & Malak's abilities.tl;dr => Rafa is MA only, Malak is MA and faith, but does more damage when his faith is lower instead of higher__________________________________________________ _____________________________
[3.12] truth and un-truth
================================================== ======================
-----
TRUTH
-----
The Heaven Knight's TRUTH spells are dependent on only the MA of the caster.
All TRUTH spells have a range/effect of {4/2v3} and will fire a random number
of times (between 1 and 6, inclusive) at random squares in the affected region.
SPELL NAME EFFECT
-------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------
Heaven Thunder Damage: [(MA + 8) / 2] * MA (Lightning)
Asura Damage: [(MA + 9) / 2] * MA (Fire)
Diamond Sword Damage: [(MA + 10) / 2] * MA (Wind)
Hydragon Pit Damage: [(MA + 12) / 2] * MA (Water)
Space Storage Damage: [(MA + 6) / 2] * MA (may add any one of the following:
Darkness, Confusion, Silence, Frog, Poison, Slow,
or Sleep)
Sky Demon Damage: [(MA + 20) / 2] * MA (Earth)
Space Storage will add a status ailment roughly 6.25% of the time.
--------
UN-TRUTH
--------
The Hell Knight's UN-TRUTH attacks show a reverse Faith dependence: they do
more damage when the target and caster have low Faith. We can think of the
formula in terms of a new intermediate stat, the 'faith multiplier' (FM).
Normally, FM = Fa. But for UN-TRUTH, FM = (100 - Fa).
UN-TRUTH is then a MOD 5 magical attack with damage determined by this
formula:
damage = [(CasterFM * TargetFM * [(MA + Q) / 2] * MA!) / 10000]
where CasterFM is the caster's UN-TRUTH faith multiplier (100 - Fa)
TargetFM is the target's UN-TRUTH faith multiplier (100 - Fa)
MA is the caster's MA
K is a constant multiplier dependent on the spell being cast
(see the table below for values of Q).
! indicates the instance of MA that is modified
The UN-TRUTH formula reveals that the real effect of Faith status is to
set FM = 100, and the real effect of Innocent status is to set FM = 0.
UN-TRUTH will do zero damage if either caster or target has Innocent
status, and any unit with Faith status acts as if they have 0 Faith as
far as UN-TRUTH is concerned (because the true effect of Faith status
is to set FM = 100).
The range and effect of all UN-TRUTH spells is the same as that of
their TRUTH counterparts: {4/2v3}, hitting a random number of times
on random squares of the affected area.
SPELL NAME Q-VALUE & OTHER PROPERTIES

Heaven Thunder Back 27 (Lightning)
Asura Back 30 (Fire)
Diamond Sword Back 34 (Wind)
Dragon Pit Back 40 (Water)
Space Storage Back 20 (may add: Darkness, Confusion, Silence, Frog,
Poison, Slow, or Sleep)
Sky Demon Back 60 (Earth)
The chance of Space Storage Back adding a status ailment is about 6.25%.
random target can bite you in the ass sometimes though :x

Ramza as squire with MA gear and draw out is almost as cheap as Orlandu sometimes :x
This game was hella fun for me every time I played it. It was super fun, also, using a gameshark on it (I'm not a cheater, I just enjoyed seeing some extra things in the game you never see) to access some of the boss's job skills and setting them as secondary skills on your players.
Accessing these spells own hardcore, such as Blind II, Confuse II, Frog II, Flare II, Meltdown, Quake, Tornado, Destroy Sword (Zalbag), the Nightmare moves that the Zodiac Monsters use, Assassin skills, the THREE Ultima spells (the 2nd one is the true Ultima, and looks pimp), etc. etc. There are so many awesome things in this game you don't have access too, and using a gameshark to open them up is pure win.
My favorite setups involve using the abilities listed above, along with "No Charge" support ability, "Teleport 2" movement ability, and so on.
Who has No Charge? lol
I don't remember for sure, but one of the bosses has it... and you can't access it unless you have a gameshark. (Might even have to be PS1 w gameshark, but if you can get it on a PS1 from a friend or something, set it up, you can save your game and play it later and they will still have their abilities as long as you don't change them.) Sorry I waited so long to reply I've been busy lately.
Np I get the same way.
My current FFT game is on my PS3 HD saved so I cant gameshark it, but I'll try it next time I play through I guess :D
I never really liked Sam, i usually go with a whm, 2 mnk's and 2 thf's or 1 thf and one ninja, or two ninja's but with thief abilities when i'm geared up. I have ramza as a mnk with gutz ability, spend a few turns accumulateing and he's hitting for 999 when he attacks and with hamedo he's hitting people for 999 when they attack him.
yeah all the Holy swordsman skills or any of those(Agrias, etc) all are pure physical attack. Get a Chaos Blade for Orlandu and his lightning stab does like 999, its crazy. Hes almost overpowered, hes so awesome but at the same time he makes too much shit too easy, deep dungeon etc.
That's quite the understatement.Originally Posted by Bkbahamut
