I like it but, to me its the splinter cell of metal gear solid. And to add to that it feels like i'm playing a game made specificaly for retarded stereotypical guy figures who can't follow a complex story line for fear of getting seizures.

But i still like it for its awesome fighting :/

action games are for the action, not the story anyway so your second sentence makes no sense. if you want a complex story go for a genre that accommodates that.

Just because its a action game, doesn't mean it can't have a good story. RPGs don't have to be the only ones.

GoW was very very good.

GoW felt incredibly overrated if you are a fan of DMC3 / Ninja Gaiden. The beginning of the game is incredibly fantastic, amazing boss fights. Then the rest of the game trails off into the same boring attack patterns/boring puzzles. It's still good... just not up to the combat standards of the two games I mentioned. If the rest of the game was the same as the first level, it would rank as one of my favorite games of all time. That said, I got really really really bored about 30% to the rest.

Well..even if you didn't beat the first one..you pretty much understand what's going on. Kratos is the new god of war then he later gets betrayed and escapes hades and begins his 'end' journey to kill zeus.

God of War II is fucking epic, my personal opinion is the story is what makes this game so badass. Alot of action games story seems to just be "Beh" but the ass kicking is great. This game has a great story and you do alot of ass kicking. What can I say everyone loves Greek Mythology :D

I rented 1 when it first came out and almost beat it, so ima finish that and move to 2. I liked one, so if 2 is better, sounds good to me.

Just beat it earlier on God mode (hit the analog during the initial new game, didn't realize I changed it to God >_>), I was working on the Challenge of the Titans, but fuck that. I can't get past the second challenge because apparantly air death bounces don't count as air kills >_>

But yeah, plays the same as GoW, only more polished, Kratos looks more natural when attacking now, esp with L1+Square, much more badass. Some new weapons and spells, all around better graphics, ending was amazing....I want GoW3 now ; ;

Just finished the first Athens part in GoW 1 and now I am going to the Desert of Lost Souls.

That fucking part at the end of the sewers when there is 2 cyclops, and then 4 minotaurs while getting shot at it with arrows and the normal guys was pretty tough.

OP buy the 1st one if you never played it ,its really cheap these days and is a very good game in its own right and worth a play thru before playing GOW2.
