I just bought GoW2 yesterday and I'm loving it so far. New moves, new enemies, new weapons, and new ways to use old weapons. It picks up where GoW1 left off and doesn't miss a step.
These God Of War games do sound pretty sweet. But I hear there is some sex scene in the game, or something like that? How graphic is it? If I do get these games, my younger brother will most likely end up playing them too. And I'm thinking he is still a bit too young for something like that.
It is just 1 short part at the beginning of the second mission. You have 2 topless chicks in your bed, and you can start a minigame where you just hear the sounds, but don't see anything. It is harmless.
Question on the original God of War.
Might be spoilers:
So I just got the Blade of Artemis during the Challenge of Atlas. I leveled it up to 2 right away, and right now it seems obscenely stronger than my Blades of Chaos at level 3.
To level up the Blades of Chaos it costs 3750, and to get my Artemis Blade to level 3 it costs 10k. Is there any reason to go back to the Blades of Chaos now that I have this Artemis Sword? At level 4 do the Chaos Blades match up the my Artemis Blade?
Advice pls, thanks![]()
Blades of Chaos will give you longer reach to hit enemies and they will be come stronger. Also you will unlock more moves allowing you to hit more enemies at once upping your "combos".Originally Posted by Po
Personally I never stopped using the Blades of Chaos. They were the first thing I took to max followed by Army of Hades.
so buying GoW 1 & 2 after work today
Restrain yourself to play and finish the 1st one first.
Verta - I hope level 4 on Chaos blades makes a big difference because right now the Artemis Sword is owning the shit out of them in terms of damage.
I hear ya, it's just you gotta be right on top of them for it to be effective. With the blades, you can be 1/2 across the screen and pound 'em. Like i said, it was just a personal preference. Do what works for youOriginally Posted by Po

Sirens now take the cake for me as most annoying enemy. That privilege was previously held by the douche bags who go under ground and then come up and triple slash you, but Sirens have taken them over.
Not really worth buying, beat the game in under 8hours in one sitting. It is a good game don't get me wrong but just rent it and you should be able to beat it easily.
are you talking about 1 or 2?
1 probably. So you know though there is ton of unlockables to get. 3 difficulty levels, "Challenge of the Gods". Lots of replayability. I need to beat itI want to start the second.
Challenge of the gods will make your blood boil.Originally Posted by Po

hell if its that hard i have to buy it lol
My friend was just telling me about Challenge of the Gods, and he said on this 1 challenge enemies keep coming and coming, and it took him an hour and a half to beat the challenge.
Some of them are ridiculous. Hard part is you have to accomplish so much in such a small amount of time or you fail. And you can't save, so you have to beat all 10 in a row.Originally Posted by Po
stuff like that drives me insane every time i have to start over ; ;Originally Posted by Vertabreaker
2, that is just the main story though.Originally Posted by Swampthing
I just don't see any reason to buy this game, you can always rent it for 5 days or even longer and I am sure you could beat all the other minigames inside that in that amount of time.
It was a good game or I would of put it down after the 2nd hour but I just hate games that can be beaten in less than 10 hours.
So you didn't like Gears of War either then Amirite?Originally Posted by Serif
