I am sure God of War 2 has better boss fights than the Hydra from the original.

Some. GoW2 has more boss fights overall, but most of them are against human and human-esque bosses, still good fights, challenging too. Last boss fight on God and Titan mode is rough =\

Worst fucking part is the second part of the fight where he's on top of the building, shooting missles at you and making those insta-kill spikes come out of the floor.

Yeah, took a little under 30 hours, I've been whoring myself to GoW2 since it came out >_>

For the start, it's timing your rolls away as the spikes come up, you can see a glow before the pop. When he goes on top of the door, roll away after he fires, then take another step or two in that direction since the arrows trail after you for a second. Took me about 1½ hours to finally beat him, and it was more out of luck than anything. Spikes are a joke to dodge when he's on the doorway as long as you can keep the minotaurs off your back.
