I don't think. I like both equally, but DMC requires a little more skill than this. I am currently playing through the first game still and I can just go kill shit with reckless abandon because I know there will be a chest of green orbs in the next room. Whereas DMC you need to play defense or you won't last. But they are both great games.
i think thats what i disliked about dmc the most actually. playing offensively is more fun, and just use evasive manuveurs. most times i dont use all the boxes of health, but its nice that there is actually one there when you need it.
im on poseidons challenge now too i think. my game is saved at the point when you get his trident to breathe underwater
yeah lol @ the guy that said the cage pushing part was funny. when it donned on me what i had to do, i just put my head down, shaking it side to side while laughing lol.
Probably rent. You're only to be playing this game through two or three times, each time with a play time of roughly eight to twelve hours.Originally Posted by thestalkmore
Am I the only one that doesn't use Medusa's Gaze ability? it seems like a cheap way to win those somewhat challenging "mini bosses." In other news..I died literally close to 50 times during the pillar jump sequence (amazingly well done) and the Icarus flight bullshit in Hades.
i dont use medusa's gaze either. i use poseidon's rage when i HAVE to get a cluster of guys off my back. i rarely use the magic powers at all lol.

oh god, the challenge of hades ; ; just got there lol
I need to get back to playing this game lol.
OH MY GOD
EPIC WIN
the battle with ares was the best battle i have ever done in any game ever made.
I just got out of climbing up atlas' face. Back in the great chasm.
After I finish the Challenge of Hades, how much is left in the game?
uhh, im not sure how much time, but my time to beat the game on normal was 11 hours almost on the dot. you might have less than two hours left if you just started the challenge of hades. i think that was the part where you pass the huge door with the mechanism that shoots a burning wooden pole at the door? probably two hours or so left after that point, roughly. save game time naturally, not counting restarts from dying lol
this was one of the greatest games i have ever played, and the final battle with ares was hands down, bar none, the most epic and awesome win i have ever seen![]()
Not much. The worst part of the challenge is escaping Hades, not the fights in it, but the running on the logs. You'll see what I mean. I hope you're good at the balance beams....while jumping...while they roll.Originally Posted by Po
After the challenge though, you're almost done. I can't really say much without spoiling it, but you've only got around an hourish left (depending on how often you die).
