It's really not that bad, it looks more like a MP based setup which is what I generally use since aside from haste and Fast Cast, nothing is really going to affect Refresh and Haste. And NQ Staves are better than no staves.

That rdm is disgusting. Astrals are 200k now, the level 40 one even less. Serket rings are going down in prices since people are doing ODS for strap-ons now. NQ staves make me gag especially considering how much they are now. I hope though by full time gear he doesn't mean just the earth staff. That rdm does not deserve the dalmy. *shakes fist and FFXI gods*

biggest problem is you have a full time rdm who wears MP gear all the time, with no convert macro. MP+ gear only increases the size of the tank. if you have 600/800 mp in your mp tank (just made up numbers, work with me) then any +mp you have up to ~180 is of no use until you go to rest (this assumes a buffer for your refresh tick.) nothing drives me nuts, gearwise, more than a mage who never holds max MP or gets close, wearing +MP gear fulltime.

Yes I am jealous, I am one of those guys who do spend millions in my gear and I'm still not done with rdm, it's not a hard job to equip at all. Like other people said, if you have used that mp and you still wear the rings, that's gimp. I have aqua rings and devotee's mitts just to switch out of once I'm done with that mp. I believe Aurik or someone else said it about relic gear, don't sell off your gear to have fund the relic. Being gimp with a really awesome item sucks.

Just because rdm is the most important job to you doesn't mean it is to everyone else. This is not about selling gear to fund a relic it is about making the best investment, and spending 400k for 10mp vs better investments is retarded.

Some people out there want their lolambrosia hats for example and if you really think they're going to spend all their time getting perfect equipment for every job your retarded as well, there’s a difference between bad and moderate equipment and a lot of stuck up idiots that post here need to learn that. It's really fucking sad that some of you have to go around putting other people down to feel better about yourselves, especially when the person you're giving shit to doesn't even have that bad of equipment in the first place.
