WTF at having shield earring and astral ring equipped at the same time.

This reminds me of a PT I had aaaaaaaaggggeeessss ago, like 2005. Our NIN/WAR was wearing an Astral Ring (this was like Lv30ish in Yhoator), and when I commented on it he just said, "lol." Later on he died to a suicide bomb, and I said, "You know, if you had 25 more HP, you would've lived." Funny thing is he would have too, by about 4 HP. >.>

One person in my LS STILL doesn't let me live down the time I told her "It's an easy BCNM, so you don't really need much gear, Here: you can borrow 2 astrals" and she would have lived by 49 HP from an AoE.

He nuked in that that, that wasn't his hMP set or anything. That includes the Dark Staff. That isn't an Astral Ring, it is a Bastokian Ring and the other ring is a STR+2 ring.

He almost constantly get resisted. Especially on birds. The third pic was his best damage on birds, and I think I only saw it once. He didn't get resisted on Rams, but on a mob that takes like what, double magic damage, its a pathetic score.

He would not cast Thunder IV instead of Thundaga III(at first I thought he couldn't, but he was Level 75). In fact I remember that whole party did and I was the only NA. Then finally they kicked me for another JP BLM. I think they got mad I refused to cast Thundaga III.

PS. Before anyone comments on my beret: It was just for show, like my San d'Orian Tunic was. I used to use Demon Helm back then, so it didn't matter if I macroed it in with my hMP set.

This is by far not worthy of this thread. FYI JP PLDs are known for preferring Ritter Shield of Koenig because of the HP and MP.

Seriously do people not know what gimp and decent gear. Just because he doesn't have Valor or Homam doesn't mean he is gimp. Just GTFO.

Last night I partied with a 62 SAM/RNG who was wielding an archers knife

I politely asked him if he understood that Hasso only works with 2-handed weapons, and he got all pissed off lol.

He only got 100 TP like every other fight, and then he'd use Flaming Arrow (which missed every time). He parsed 3% overall damage. >_>;
