I use cap on BLM for nukes- im not sure but i dont think it has MAB. Maybe MACC or something though- because i dont really get resisted much and i use a heavy INT MAB setup. Maybe Conserve MP. . . That does seem to proc a lot.

Meh, im way to lazy to test that stuff though- if im gonna play BLM i use buddies mule- lol hes got INT and Ele skill merits (im str and enfeebling) hes also got zenith+1, genie, etc lolMule.

Thanks for testing this out, I'm kinda secretly hoping there is no hidden effect because I'm a nub and my only job at 75 is monk, and I'm a super slow leveler (i.e. only one 75 job) so Maat's Cap is pretty much an impossibility for me, and being a career monk I'd hate to be lacking such a powerful piece of gear

Try testing for MaB with ninjitsu on level 1 rabbits, assuming you don't have any mage jobs leveled.

Yeah but the cap is level 70 no? I said if incase all of his mage jobs happen to be 66, I don't know the guy.

Something seems off about 23.22% crit rate without the cap, highest I've topped out at with MNK was 19% and this is my gear.

Thats still 24 more dex than you to account for around 3-4% crit rate, within reasonable error, I think its explainable.

most jobs you can get 75 on in less than a month.

^ All you need is a couple of nukes with cap and a couple without, will take less than 5 mins.

7DEX won't give you +7% crit....
