You're right. I preferred the Miami Vice setting more than the LBC setting this is true. They are both good games.

SA was still good, my favorite was VC. Gta3 introduced the genre, but it was Vice city that showed what the genre was truely capable of, incredible sound track(with "real" songs, and yea i loved flashback in gta3 with scarface songs), good voice acting, hilarious scripts, profanity , and holy shit the first time in the apache, when i accidently pushed the analog in and realized you could do vigilante in one. San Andreas just took that ball and ran with it

Don't worry about FFXII not being there. IGN doesn't include it in the list, yet Famitsu gave it a perfect score. I think I respect Famitsu's opinion more than IGN's.

Anyway, although ZoE2 and SMT series are great games, they are pretty underrated (especially SMT).

Actually my entire point is that it isn't just me, that something like this is in the facts. I'm saying people who say otherwise are being nostalgic and biased. SA was a bigger leap from VC than VC was from III.

I'm not though, I've played them all. The differences aren't as apparent in SA then they are in VC. Although the biggest was 2 > 3 we aren't really talking about that. Making a game larger in content doesn't mean it's a bigger improvement, you can add all the guns and missions you want that doesn't make it an improvement, just expansion.

(Also I'd like to note, it stops being an expansion when the improvement is at least over 4 times the size of any other installments).
