What do they do, those stones that swirl around the Aerns' wrists? What specifically triggers their appearance, and what removes them?

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I would say they are time based only. Unlike Ghrah that are based on time and dmg taken.I'm not sure exactly how long, but it's probably 30-60sec with bracelet and 30-60 without.
What they do? I'm surprised you havent noticed because they become nasty with the bracelet on. Get something like 50% haste bonus, and a big attack boost (almost double dmg)
APB = AERN POWER BRACELETS!
i remember someone coined the term back in the day... cant remember who;_; i fail at lurking.
Strictly time based, like Kaylia said. Whenever I solo Aerns I use sleep bolts on em when they put on the bracelets and they can take them off while they're asleep too.
They add massive Haste, Attack and Accuracy. Fear Ninja and Monk mobs when they put them on, their power level goes over 9000. I've been saying for a long time, screw Ninurta's sash, Absolute Virtue needs to drop the damed bracelets, lol.
When they activates the twilight bracelet, they can data drain you...
But seriously, soloing even the DC aerns near the auroral updraft was a bitch until the recent signet change when they pop bracelet.
Though now it just mean they missed more attack within the timeframe.
Oh wow. Thanks for the info, do0dz! :D
I thought the bracelets appeared as a result of someone doing a JA or WS. For me, the bracelets only appear after I use a bloodpact. It's bee awhile since I've fought an Aern solo though, so I could be wrong.
You are wrong, it's strictly a time thing. Go sleep one for 10 minutes, it'll remove, and reappy the bracelets several times.
Yeah, I noticed the change-while-sleeping thing pretty quickly. For a while it would always freak me out because the sudden movement made me think it had woke up, and then I'd waste a sleep on it for no effect![]()
