Hi there I did a search and couldnt see anything my apologies if its been posted here allready.
Would anyone by chance know the leather and goldsmithing sub levels at all for this synth? Or if it just likes to break a lot?
Tried two synths over the weekend with two 100+3 clothcrafters both with 60 leather and 60 goldsmithing subs. First synth broke and saved the Yoichi's Sash the second was a full break . Or am I just really unlucky? lol
Any help would be cool thanks .

I'd go with just Unlucky, unless your clothcrafters weren't really 60 goldsmithing. Alot of the time, crafters will say they they have gold sub, but they don't have it totally leveled. Also, with 2 capped subs required, there is probably alot higher chance of break.

Not really the same thing, but I think that it might be illustrative that SE does put screwy subcraft levels in.

I'm 100+3 bone, 60+1 leather and:

I swear that there's something up with the subcraft for leather for Unicorn Gear. I've broken 50% of the unicorn synths I've done without Adv. Leather support and none of the ones that I've done with Adv. leather support.

That said, I'm pretty sure that people lie about gold subcraft levels too. I did it a long time ago for bonecraft (just to be at 520/520+5), and I've never come close to making up the cost of going from 53 to 60 (think it was 7 or 8 mil when I did it, probably still 2-3 mil).

yea, the two subcraft thing is always a tough hill to climb with crafts, especially when they are both at 60-

Currently i'm leveling my own goldsmithing (51 right now) to do my own kyudogi synth, (only missing sash from mats) and when I hit 60, AND get my dark glasses, i'll do the synth.

My goal is thus: get .2 skill more to be at 99.9 cloth, then do my kyudogi synth, get 100 and HQ the synth- I think its not too much over the top to have that as a goal.

Getting this is such a huge pain in the ass since it comes from im pretty certain only the ashu talif tier 2 fight and most people rarely ever do this again after beating it. Lucky to see one of these on AH once a month, which of course doesnt help the price of it with todays prices on most things dropping whereas this generally sits at the same price if not higher.

Good luck on your synth just missing the sash again myself for attempt #3.
